So you've been paying someone for their training all these years or did you reach a point where you can learn the changes on your own?

Kind of, but not really . . .

Other than CE, I don't pay someone to train me . . . but I do a lot of self study including paid subscriptions to health related topics.

Not every agent is like this. Some never do anything beyond the required minimum for certification or license renewal.

They can tell you 100 different ways to sell more insurance but they have very little understanding about how the plan works.

When a new product is introduced on the forum, I rarely see folks asking about the benefits, but they are quick to ask about the commission level which invariably leads to a dialogue about how my product pays more than yours does.
