Does Tattoos Affect Sales?

When it comes down to it, it depends on the prospect. EVERYONE no matter what image you are trying to display will turn some people off. We all don't have to wear 3 piece suits or khakis and a polo to do business. The fact that you have a visible tattoo help you with some prospects. So it can go either way.

my .02 is it would depend on the tatoo and the person...As Al3 mentioned a small tatoo on a womans ankle wouldn't bother me...A tatoo one might get while serving his country in our Military also would tend not to turn me off...however as Al3 and others might have mentioned body art running all the way down the arms and legs would tend to make me uncomfortable dealing with this person and I would probably not take their advice.

Insurance is a square profession.

If you have tats on a part of your body where it shows I do think its a deal breaker.

Military ink is the only exception and thats border line.

A new, female in-law of mine has tattoos pretty much everywhere, including handcuffed fairies and just plain weird stuff.

She has one tattoo just above her butt-crack -something or other in latin. I never could stare long enough to see exactly what it said. Probably "open other end" or something equally deep. I finally got up the nerve to ask her. She told me it was some saying she really liked at the time she got etched but now has forgotten what it says and does not know latin. I guess I'll have to wait for another beach opportunity to figure it out for her.

A marine or navy tattoo on a tough vet would be a plus for me. The others, from my experience, are worthless, air-head, narcissists.
