F.E. Cheat Sheet And/or Health Questionaire

Do any of you F.E. guys have a cheat sheet or questionnaire you use to determine which company you will ultimately use or quote when sitting with a potential client? ..............................

.

THANKS!!!

I am not an FE only guy. However, I have a simple Info sheet I use to qualify a Life quote. I do not know how to post it. Send me an email and I will send it to you. If you know how to post it that is cool also. [email protected]

Okay.. not cool

Just went to write a guy my first Forethought- 52 year old male on insulin, HBP and had a stroke 4 years ago

Flat out declined because he takes a frekin "water pill"
Bumetanide

Called and talked to underwriter... everything on the app and agents guide says he qualifies for atleast ROP

Booooooo to Forethought

Sounds like a glitch on the diuretic where they believe it is because of CHF.

As there is no place on the application for the inclusion of prescriptions taken, I suspect it was in MIB that the reason for the diuretic is enlarged heart or CHF. Could definitely be wrong, but he was already half way out when he indicated Diabetes with high (aka uncontrolled) blood pressure and already had a stroke as a result. He's a walking time bomb.

Conversely, Foresters would pass him with flying colors because of their tolerance toward Diabetics and final expense.

I have not seen the Forethought application but if CHF is a decline then I would assume that particular question would be on the app. Is it?

Ron,

Will be happy to send you any/all state forms you'd like to see. Here's a typical one from TX. See Question#25. Answers of YES to 24 or 25 are declined.

You guys are wasting your time with Forethought. I'll use newby's line, "the only ones that think that Forethought is in the FE business is Forethought".:D

That free grandchild rider is pretty solid- but their underwriting sucks ass

I mean c'mon man, I wrote a guy that had half a foot removed from diabetes and a triple bypass and got coverage through UHL all outside 2 years

Just a heads up to any florida agents- be careful on Forethoughts agent guide when determining level, graded or ROP

Theres an extra question on Florida apps that throw the guide outta wack- quetion 25 is really question 26 and so on...

Yes, indeed. I was mighty confused by this at first.
I think they were confused at the home office, too, until someone in there told the person I had on the line what the issue was..

I don't know about that JD. It looks like they have gotten serious on their rates with this new product. Also have POS approvals. It really doesn't look too bad.

They have probably cleaned house on management again and recruited someone who has a clue. It looks like things are going the right direction.
