Im 26 and I cant tell you how crazy of a networking medium it is, not that you dont already know that

Here is a Q from one old fux: How much money have you made from Facebook in the last 12 months...? (and I am NOT referring to any male or femaile escort connections, just ins commissions).

lol well insurance nothing, im still a newb, but i do know this, you can backlink your site into your facebook giving you relevance, same with myspace, every little bit helps. AND i was looking at it from a networking mentoring aspect, not making money off of it. Way to jump the gun sunny:-) (there are pills for that ya know lol)

That's what I thought... now if these other old fux weren't so busy making money they would let you in on what is possibly the old (new) fashioned way... sans the facbook, twitter and whatever other resources exist... Sometimes you can out think your capability and go right past the goose that is laying the golden eggs... things like internet leads, and online applications. Pretty darned "right now".

With the electronic tools available today one can do the work that it used to take a dozen ppl to do... nothing wrong with looking for the method that will allow you to do the work of 25... as long as you are using what is right in front of you NOW. But... what become the norm for far too many is "the search" for the better mousetrap, instead of it being in addtion to using the existing mousetrap.

Just the view from a really old fux... offered to someone who is a neophite, (and I mean that in a really affectionate way).

Appreciate it very much. I plan to cold call every day, phone book data lists etc. I want to put in my two cents, and I do want to learn to prospect, Im not out to be lazy, I am to a sense of the comfort of technology, but I dont want to be ignorant of the roots, its all cyclical IMO. The only thing facebook, myspace, etc, do is to let acquaintances know what you do. Its free, but you'd get a better return w/wearing a hat w/your logo on it.
