For those of you using NORVAX...

Re: Question For Norvax Or Quotit Owners...

Golden Rule adjusts the rate in the NORVAX system. Everyone else will be preferred.

I rarely send out quotes, unless I'm extremely slammed, using their system.

I have more personal drafts already made up side by side comparison on plans I sell the most of. After I run the quotes with Norvax I simply plug in the numbers and email them out of Outlook.

I currently have Norvax quoting system in 25 states and it's all in one link.
You can add it to as many websites as you want.

I'm not sure how much they charge for a website but if they charge anything for it just build your own and use their link. That what I did. Health Insurance

Re: Question For Norvax Or Quotit Owners...

Norvax will still quote it if they are over the parimeters of height and weight. It doesn't come back and say HEY YOU'RE TOO FAT. haha

Norvax quote engine to include .....

I just heard that Norvax is going to add Medicare, and Life insurance quotes to their quoting engine during this year. A one stop shopping quote engine, I like the idea of that.

Re: Norvax quote engine to include .....

Right now you can get major med, life, dental, STM in most states from Quotit. Group & Medicare are only in CA as far as I know.

Quotit does have Group Health in CA, and I hear they are expanding that. They already have senior quoting both MA and MS in many states. Dental too and I think some other products.

The Golden Rule Norvax Offer - Good Deal??

So I've been getting e-mails from Golden Rule offering me entry into their United Select Producers Club. To maintain membership, I must submit and maintain 6 apps in a 12 month period.

For $100 membership fee I get:
  1. A personalized website with a quote engine in the states you sell.
  2. A BrokerOffice account to manage your leads and generate proposals.
  3. An email autoresponder (leadminer) to follow-up with your prospects.
  4. $100 in lead credits and $30 additional lead credits with every Golden Rule placed application to use when you are ready
If I want Norvax to quote more carriers, the price is

# of additional carriers Monthly fee
1 25
2 50
3 65
4 75

So, my question to those in the know. Is this worthwhile, or am I better off doing something else (like joining an association and getting discounts, or using Quotit and myoffice)?

Re: The Golden Rule Norvax Offer - Good Deal??

It's a great deal if you are getting $30 per app for lead credits. They'll get you on the monthly cost if you add carriers, however most Norvax users are paying $100+ per month.

Keep in mind...you can only get this deal if you write directly with GR with an "as earned" contract. If you are just getting started and selling as earned, it will be some time before you see sizable checks coming in.

If you'd like an advance contract, I would be happy to discuss the pros and cons with you. Just private message me thru the site.

Re: The Golden Rule Norvax Offer - Good Deal??

Go with Quotit and forgot it..... I'm even a member of John's org (they have a discount program) and STILL went with Quotit....... (Based soley on the advice given herein from Somarco...... hey Bob.... did they process that referral fee check, yet?)

The part about going with QuotIt is real....... cheaper too!

OH.... in answer to your question..... stay independent.... don't join the UPSC or whatever UHC calls it.... not a deal at all unless you plan on only selling UHC policies......????
