For those of you using NORVAX...

Re: The Golden Rule Norvax Offer - Good Deal??

There are other options beside the leads, higher commission, bonus to name a few. Quotit did not have all the carriers I needed, so I went with Norvax. Varies by state I think.

It's a no brainer as long as you submit a few apps, 6 apps is nothing, I think they told me 12. It's a good program.

Even if you just took the leads, it's 120 leads in a year for $100. 83 cents a lead, what's to think about?

Keep in mind...you can only get this deal if you write directly with GR with an "as earned" contract. If you are just getting started and selling as earned, it will be some time before you see sizable checks coming in.

I'm bankrolled. If I need extra cash, I'll fly to Vegas and spend the weekend at the poker tables.

Someone mentioned Quotit. How much does it cost? Can you get them down on price?

Re: The Golden Rule Norvax Offer - Good Deal??

It is a great program for low to moderate level producers. Take the deal.

Once you do over 100 to 200 GR contracts per year, then you go key broker and take the bigger contract.

Re: The Golden Rule Norvax Offer - Good Deal??

If GR isn't the PRIMARY company you get advanced from, pick somebody. If you're 100% as earned from all carriers, you'll make chumpy checks. Get the advance $ interest free and put it away, sell the rest as earned to pay the bills.

Re: The Golden Rule Norvax Offer - Good Deal??

100% as earned with everyone.

Chumps, I looked at your website. It ran very slow. Is this because the server is overseas?
:D

Yes. A lot of sniper fire this week in Beirut.

Actually, the website exists, but it is not really used. There is no traffic and I never refer anyone to it. One of these days, I'll figure out SEO.

Re: The Golden Rule Norvax Offer - Good Deal??

I signed up for USPC last year. Can't tell you how many leads I have received for free, probably somewhere around 130 - 150. Sold a handful.

After all, they are oversold PZ leads which are crummy.

I didn't have to pony up the entry fee due to past production. Not a big fan of Norvax, so I probably would not have paid to get in given the combo of Norvax/PZ leads.

OTOH I did make money and would have even if I had to pay the entry fee.

It is a good program.

They are changing it. Now you get 3 leads ($30 value . . . hah, hah, hah) for every sold case (including STM). You can opt for $50 cash bonus in lieu of PZ leads which is an even better deal.

I wouldn't pay to upgrade with Norvax, even though they push it heavily.

I prefer Quotit but they may not be a fit for your area. In some states they will have all the carriers you need while others they will come up short.

No Mark, I did not get the credit. Need to talk to Javier about that. Thanks for the heads up and using my name.

Quotit and Norvax are about the same for the basic quote engine . . . $80/month or so. You can add on autoresponders, website, etc and run the price way up but I saw no need to do that.

I am as earned with all carriers too. Sucks for the first few months but then is nice when you need to take off for a week or so and your income doesn't take a hit.

Chumps server is in my bomb shelter.

Re: Question For Norvax Or Quotit Owners...

John- Is it possible to import data from lead carriers (let's say Leadco and Netquote, for example) and have the information go directly to the quote engine?

Yo Chumps,
YES, Quotit integrates with "most" major lead vendors. They will auto-import leads right into your iPro. You DONT have to manually import. Saves me a lot of time, and gets you from lead to quote very quickly. They will not auto-import PZ leads however, probably for a few reasons.
