Funeral Cost Mail Stuffer

Hey Newby, do you have any suggestions for what I am looking for? This not mailing cold. this is to my own book.

And a bunch of Preneed orphans I have

Thanks,

Lee

Take a look at some of the sample here http://shelmor.com/examples3.html

I use them for some of my funeral home mailings. Shelly Morrison is pretty creative with mail pieces that are effective with funeral themes.

That is a nice piece. That is pretty close to what I am looking for. I do not expect them to fill anything out. I just want them to call me to do a review.

Thanks,

Lee

Ya, this was just a piece I liked. They have a graphic designer that will put together a piece of your liking and make sure it is compliance approved. They charge 4 cents per copy for most stuff. I was thinking about having them make me something with a lot of these pieces but in a mailer format...removing the top portion and adding some pictures and such.

That is a very nice worksheet for the appointment. I don't think it's good for a mailer but very good for your presentation. Nice find.

Is Oxford hooking up with the FCGS? That would throw a money wrench in LH's whole operation.

I haven't heard of them working with them, I think they just used some of the information from their website as a source for funeral costs. Most of their old pieces quoted NFDA costs for funerals but seems they went with FCGS for this one.

It seems odd that an insurance company is using another insurance companies info as a resource. I wonder if they even knew that FCGS is really Lincoln Heritage or if they really thought they were real.

I talked about that with their regional director when he sent me the piece (I was appointed with LH at one time so knew the connection), they knew of the partnership with LH but liked the Good, Better, Best concept over the NFDA standard average.

I guess the theory is, not many clients will actually check the source and make the connection to LH...they will just work off the agents pitch and make their decision on what dollar amount works best for them. I figure, even if a client goes to the website and discovers LH, Oxford's rates will beat them anyhow.

Speaking of Oxford, don't they offer some sort of discount with At&T? If so, how does one get that discount?

Not sure about AT&T, I know they do for Verizon...I get 19% off my bill. I can't remember how it was done though, they sent an email about it a couple years ago but haven't seen anything recently that I can remember. I am sure they still offer it but probably just aren't marketing it.
