Has Anybody Worked for LTC Financial Partners?

While I agree, I also "present" a series of slides that ensure that all points will be covered. I don't use a script for the slides but they are like cue cards. Without them, you might forget to talk about a vital topic like rate increase histories. If you totally wing it each and every time, you will miss important points. If you use slides and/or a quoting tool, you are "presenting" material and you are making a presentation. To me, improv is very boring to watch and hear. I assume most others feel the same.

you missed his point entirely.

why not just ask good questions and then listen intently to their answers and respond accordingly.

my point: why have a presentation at all?

When was the last time you personally purchased some product, any product, after getting a 90-minute presentation?

:swoon:

I've bought homes after 90 minute presentations. The purpose of a presentation is to make sure you cover all important subjects. A presentation can take the form of asking questions and listening and responding to answers. If you have a list, mental or written, of questions you will ask, that is your presentation.

... and the percentage of people that buy homes after a 90 minute sales presentation is???????

I'm glad you brought up the home-buying issue.
I liken LTCi to home-buying.
Most people don't really know what they want until they've looked around for awhile.

IOW, it's not a one-call close. (not any more.)

I agree. The one call close suits mainly the seller. When people buy homes, they generally spend more than 90 minutes listening to the Realtor talk about the house and showing it. This is what I mean by buying a home after a 90 minute or more presentation.

To write more business not less business.

If they provide the leads, wouldn't they tell you where to get licensed?

Mackroo says they just "encourage" you to get licensed in other states.

Why "encourage"?

Why not tell you how many states you need to get a certain amount of leads?

Once again, a very uncertain lead system they have. Too many uncertain factors at their control, IMO.

I guess if you are using screen sharing you have to put some slides up there. Not sure what the alternative is when a person does just "impov"?

Not sure what improv means here?

Sounds to me you do improv, but with slides and basic outline?

Regarding the States issue, some agents might have a connection with certain areas and be able to relate to people there even after they have relocated.

Someone from Arkansas might not feel comfortable dealing with New Yawkers and vice versa unless they have spent time in that area. Those comfort level decisions are left to the agent. Improv is short for improvisation. Improv can go off on various tangents, many unproductive, while a more structured interview ensures that all important issues are covered.

Pretty much; they have to have them first.

OK, so no time limit on when you get them? (whenever they come in)

The leads are dependent on other LTCFP agents that might also be working that area?

I assume there are no exclusive territories. They give them out how they want to basically.
