Has Direct Mail Slowed Down???

Most vendors will do that . Your in a terrible dm area it's that simple . If you get 10 cards back your knocking out of the park
The thing that I think would be unusual is the fact that I did not ask for any type of adjustment. They volunteered the replacement mailing without being asked..

Personally, because I do my own mail drops on marketing mail.. I've already purchased the bulk of my costs.

Today I did a drop of $70 (total costs more, total postage was 107.00, total over was like $150)

What type of mail piece are you using?

Just letters.

I didn't even complete my thought... Dumb me..

Because my actual cost per drop is so low, I'm just grinding through it.

For FE, my approach would not work.

For MS, it would do better. I do a lower quantity drop because I mail multiple times. Frequency is more important than quantity to me

Do you include a reply card with the letter?

Do you include a reply card with the letter?

I mean, you can... Your cost would go up for reply card postage.

I do not.

I push them to my website/to call me. That's why it's not really likely to work for FE.

You guys need a bit more push, but you could make it work for you. I think using letters is more my speed because I can tell a story. BRC mailers don't let you do that.

For FE, specifically, I would tell the story of my niece that passed away from SIDS and how my sister in law had to borrow money and host a spaghetti dinner to pay for funeral costs.

Then my close would be something like, "Return the card to learn how to never make your family desperate for money when they should be grieving your loss."

(That's a top of the head plan, it'd be more refined as I processed more.) I'd probably get more FE agents input, because frankly I know what I don't know.. which is the FE market.

Also, I'd used a #10 letter with a precancelled stamp and hand written font for address and such. I don't want it to look like a sales letter to entice opening.

The other story, and one that might hit closer to home for the FE crowd was my mom who died of small cell lung cancer. (Especially for Cancer upsells)

She didn't have any savings or life insurance. Instead of focusing on treatment, she worked up until the day she had a seizure at work because of Mets to her brain. She literally worked until the day she went into a coma to die.

Question: How would you and your family pay for your bills if it happened to you?

Send BRC back to find out how you can buy your family tens of thousands of dollars for only pocket change.a day.

Just checked with Need-A-Lead about buying a few fixed cost leads in TN. They just recently raised the cost from $32 per lead to $45 per lead. Said they were having to seen almost double the mail to achieve the same results in TN. Wonder why the change?

They've been $45 in several states for a while . That's ages 50-85 and a Walmart lead . You'd lose on that as 20% of the leads 80-85 . Saturation everywhere. Clients are showing me 10 pieces of mail a week .
