Health Sherpa 2016 Open Enrollment

WiscBroker, unless things at UHC are different from Golden Rule, they do not recognize AOR changes until the policy has been in effect 12 months.

I realize this policy is not in effect yet, and this is UHC, not GR but just figured I would toss this out in case you lose or try to take over another UHC account in the first year.

Somarco- are you referring to the effective date in terms of not in effect yet or the installation/enrollment complete/ effectuation date which may be prior to the effective date?

Hi saintstigers,

This is slotted for Eng to wrap up this week. This is a hot feature that we have at the top of our list for priorities, so will most def. post an update as soon as it's pushed live.

Cheers!

Great I have a ton of renewals that are waiting to be done!

Saintstigers, is there a reason you are not submitting a new app? That is what I've been doing and it's been working fine so far, it just replaces the 2015 app and the carrier has the new information a few days later.

I guess the renewal option will just make it that much easier (prefilled in personal info, etc.)?

TwoLabs,

Correct - the renewals feature will be able to pull in pre-filled apps for your folks which will minimize the effort.

Cheers!

Yes.

It seems from your post you are attempting to rewrite a policy applied for, but not yet in force, I can't say how the AOR impacts your situation. Just telling you how GR handled AOR. Not recognized until the 13th month the policy was in force.

Follow-Up:

Earlier in this thread I mentioned that one of my enrollments seemed to have George listed as the bor, and I was still waiting for this to be corrected.

UPDATE: 6-4 is not the type of record that places you firmly on top of the wild-card hunt, but in the AFC, anything goes. Big Ben has a week off and the Steelers should finish with about 10 wins. If Williams stays healthy, look out!

Oh. Sorry. I am now listed as the bor, and I'm still not sure if I ever wasn't. Regardless, long live Sherpa.

Cat -
Will the new HealthSherpa renewal feature be able to:

1 - access the a 2015 exchange members', 2016 subisdy determination that was automatically determined by the exchange? And use it to select a different plan (same carrier) than the one they were mapped to?

2 - if the 2015 exchange member decides not to auto-enroll with their current plan and wants to change to another carrier, will Sherpa take their 2016 auto-determined subsidy for use with applying with new 2016 carrier?

Told you they'd fix it Chumps!
They have their problems (for SURE this year), but one of them is NOT intentionally trying to steal your clients!
