Health Sherpa 2016 Open Enrollment

Anyone else's Leads not working anymore either?

Everytime I try to save a client, it will refresh and take me back to my dashboard but it doesn't show up in Leads.

Hey all,

Expect a significant (positive) announcement from HealthSherpa today, for changes that will go into effect immediately as well.

Just giving an early heads up. Thanks for your patience and sticking with us through challenging times.

Hopefully CMS has relented, and will allow HealthSherpa to return to how simplified enrollments were conducted, before this horrific re-direct handicap was forced upon you. Now THAT would be a "Significant Positive Announcement", Gerry!

Oh, Allen, this is SUCH a nightmare!
I'd swear that I did one yesterday that HAD those bright orange buttons on the LEFT side about CHIP for the children. (But, my days are all running together, too.)

This moving target is SO frustrating!

Thanks for the heads-up!!!!!!!!!

They've changed the data-entry and display back to the way it was...thank goodness! I hope that's not today's big announcement, LOL. I swear there must a government mole working at HealthSherpa. Government likes to change things around just for the heck of it.

Its cookies.

I'm having to go back and forth between IE and Firefox.

Mainly because that is quicker than cookie emptying.

Considering it worked today and I never emptied cookies then I can't see how it's cookies causing the issue. And let me be clear, I did not do another application on Sherpa. I just wanted to see if it would work and it did. Again, I never cleared out my cookies.

The 'Significant' announcement from HealthSherpa (formal announcement will be made via e-mail) is two-fold:

1. The HealthSherpa SimpleEnrollment that you've known is back

2. All agent applications on HealthSherpa are now free. No setup cost, no per-application cost.

This is in effect immediately, and through the Dec 15 deadline. At that point, we might have to make some modifications to this policy, but we want to remove all obstacles during this very important week, and get us all back on track.

Oh, HalleluYah!
My prayers have been answered!

I just HOPE we can STILL avoid the Passive-Renewal problems that I'm wondering about.
(Have not submitted an app since this changed. Don't KNOW if we still have to visit that dreaded govt site. But, I THINK that the FORCED Re-direct to the govt site might have been saving us from those potential problems.)

Communication is NEEDED from people who KNOW more than they are sharing!

But, thanks for the crumbs!

I agree. The forced redirect took the unknown factor away regarding the preloaded 2016 app since we were working from that and not creating a new one. I am VERY concerned about that, and I don't know if I will use Sherpa from now on until I can be certain my clients will only be enrolled in one plan come January.

I know the coding for this is likely very difficult, but is there a way to have the option of doing the redirect if the broker chooses?

Also, is there a way to reduce the amount of subsidy used (where they don't use the full 100% of subsidy). I have self-employed people whose income fluctuates who want to hold some back, but that doesn't appear to be an option on Sherpa, only through healthcare.gov direct.
