You can't do a partial-subsidy with Sherpa, TN.

But, that's not a real problem for the self-employed.
Just increase their Estimated 2016 Income to a higher figure.

They have NO IDEA WHAT they'll make in 2016, anyway.

TxOnline and TN_Agent, our system is setup to do the right thing with regards to renewals, and has been doing so all of OEP. Specifically:

1) Look for existing 2016 app - if exists, report a life change
2) Otherwise, look for existing 2015 app - if exists, start pre-filled 2016 app from that
3) Otherwise, start new 2016 app

We will explore a setting that allows you to toggle between the two modes.

Can you please give a step by step? That worked with the redirect but with a now it just enrolls, and does not give you that option. What am missing?
 
rugerred - our process takes care of it. If you were to go directly into the agent/broker portal, that is the correct sequence of steps.

That right there just saved me hours of work to determine if I needed to cancel the 2015 app via back door. Well explained.

Yes, I vote also for the ability to do fast app or double redirect to ensure our NPN stays on the 2016 app.........for 2017

How would you word these options to keep from confusing the shopper-applicant after they click the "Enroll" button?
 
Yagents, we also ensure your NPN goes on both the app and the final enrollment, if you are concerned there - i.e. if there's a CiC or passive renewal on an app submitted through us, the NPN should get carried over to the subsequent 834.

My prayers have been answered!

I'm thankful that HealthSherpa has reverted back to the Simplified quote/enroll process too, TxOnline.

It would be more comforting if we knew WHY HealthSherpa was suddenly forced over to the hc.gov hand-off method of enrolling, and what (if any) authority allowed them to revert back to the simplified method. It's possible that we could suddenly find HealthSherpa doing the 2-way redirect again at any time. But at least we still have ACA Express fast enrollment available, if that should happen.
