If we're going to make assumptions like that then, should I assume that all the females in your family are like Madea?
Brother, you are making more out of this than what reality is. Just sayin'
Todd, go back & reread the thread, at least my posts.... I NEVER insinuated "all" white ppl, my whole point was it exists! That's all I ever said. And I never made any assumptions!

I live in southern Mississippi and work mostly here and Alabama. Just about all of my clients are black. So i'm not sure how a black man wouldn't do good in the south. People can come up with an excuse for anything. People die in car wrecks all the time, yet we still drive. You can and eventually will find the racist white folk, and I have and will again find the racist black. But that wouldn't stop me from working an area or coming up with excuses. You are welcome to come ride with me and I bet you would have a totally different outlook.
I was saying that you were assuming and actually pointing out that the movie was like real life. Well, it's not. (ain't, for the rest of us southern folk).
I grew up in a day when it was a bit like that, and in my father's time it was even worse. I can tell you for a fact that it's just not like that. Don't know where you are coming from on this.
If you're just fooling around, I'm sorry I am missing that. I'm taking it that you are serious in your thoughts. If you are serious, I have to say it kind of hurts my heart to see it.

Let me explain, u may disagree but that doesnt mean its not true....
Im NOT assuming anything, its not debatable, the movie IS based on real life events (not saying a true story), but events or similar that has happened. I never said it happens today, but I wouldnt doubt it if it does to a lesser degree.

If you are referring to me, then I wish ppl would ACTUALLY read what I said, instead of commenting on things I didnt say. Tell me where I said a black man couldnt be successful in the South? I said I would stay away from the RURAL South, while its not as bad as it once was...I wouldnt advice any black man to work those areas if he can.
