Is it seriously Possible to be a Part-Time Agent

Are you questioning my facts, or my credibility? It appears you are the one not answering questions. As for an interest in the forum, is insurance MLM too off-topic for you, even though it is very relevant to the question being asked about being a part-time agent? Isn't that, in fact, one of the main features promoted in the MLM insurance field?

Hmm. A programmer interested in selling insurance? That does not compute!

Wel I was more interested in something I could do remotely while I sell insurance. programmer or some sort of marketing is only thing that came to mind. I have been told it is a bad idea to have two gigs that compliment eachother. I works in restaurants when I sold Real Estate. It doesn't work because you need access to your phone all the time. Missed a lot of potential buyers just because another agent got to them. Don't know about insurance but in Real Estate if can't get ahold of people in 24hrs, then they probably went someplace else 80% of the time.

I was just joking since I have interests in both. I'd probably have to move to get another programming job or get a remote job. But I don't want to move and the remote contracts are hard to come by.

Where do you live? And I have heard most remote contracts go to India.

Ok cool, so it is pretty much sort of along the same line as selling. Its not like something totally opposite like being a computer programmer and selling insurance

I understand what you are saying... but... selling is how you get a customer to begin with... it's not customer service...

You can be terrible at customer service and still be a good salesman... don't get the two confused... it can cost you a career...
