Is it seriously Possible to be a Part-Time Agent

I understand what you are saying... but... selling is how you get a customer to begin with... it's not customer service...

You can be terrible at customer service and still be a good salesman... don't get the two confused... it can cost you a career...
Yep, selling gets you the customer....customer service helps you keep the customer.

Are you questioning my facts, or my credibility? It appears you are the one not answering questions. As for an interest in the forum, is insurance MLM too off-topic for you, even though it is very relevant to the question being asked about being a part-time agent? Isn't that, in fact, one of the main features promoted in the MLM insurance field?

I think I'll just jump in and take this one...

I think your hang up on MLM is that you don't fully understand Capitalism... this is a big concern for those in this business... simply... because if Ins. Companies don't make money... we don't get paid... and grandma ends up in the city dumpster when her time comes...

Insurance is a risk business and based off that model... agents here sell $money$ pure and simple... money that helps to off set the cost of risk

Enter life insurance... that's a 100% guaranteed risk... who doesn't die?:)

Companies use individuals to help market their product...

Can you agree with me this far?

I don't believe the debate is about the virtues of insurance and I'm pretty sure you are aware of that.

No wonder everybody is jumping over to the Facebook FE groups.......

On Facebook everyone posts under his or her real name, so that prevents most if not all of the internet bully behavior that you see here. That EFES FB group Josh announced here a couple of weeks ago has taken much of the forum participation with it, it would seem. How quickly the internet can change.

And I'll take that to shamelessly plug our group again ;)

It has actually blown me away about how poorly most agents are trained. The questions they ask AND more importantly the answers they give AND carriers they reccomend based on health conditions are scary.

But I doubt we are going to make a dent in the insurance forums lol. You're never going to google an insurance related question and find our Facebook group. You will however find the Forum.

Hate to break it to you, but FB does not personally verify the identities of any of its billions of users.
