Is it seriously Possible to be a Part-Time Agent

Memphis. The one in Tennessee, not Egypt.
I don't believe the debate is about the virtues of insurance and I'm pretty sure you are aware of that.

Funny... you call into question the people not the product...

It's all about gambling... even the client is gambling... how do yo feel about people that lay wagers on their own lives... that would be the people that buy this stuff...;)

On Facebook everyone posts under his or her real name, so that prevents most if not all of the internet bully behavior that you see here.

Then that takes away FMO recruiting tactics that were very effective here for some FMO's. Many of the multiple screen names and bullying tactictics were being used to recruit IMO. You can attack or promote from another angle.

toolbelt - Sounds to me like you have an ax to grind... I did some homework, should have done that first, but I really don't see anywhere in your post where you have had anything positive to say...

Sounds to me like you got burnt... happens... has happened to me...

Now you need to decide if your going to let the bite of the bitter bug make you sick or not.

Maybe you tried sales and you just don't have the stuff... don't get huffy... go out and find what you are good at... they will never ask me to be a hair model... :nah: (that is unless its for my legs...)

But just a quick word of friendly advice... many of the guys and gals on here work hard and honestly at a tough job... they don't like folks coming on here and degrading what they do... it's how they feed their families and how they pay their bills...

Once you've help settle a claim in this business... and yes I have... mostly recent one was this week... then you get a new perspective of the job... the product... the companies... and most of all... your clients.

...not to mention those in the trenches with you.

Im not belittling insurance or those that sell it, and I don't know why you are attempting to misdirect my comments in that direction. I was merely pointing out the risks and shortcomings and inefficiency of selling insurance the MLM route. It seems you have an axe to grind. Stick to the facts, don't shoot the messenger, unless that is the only defense you can mount?

Are you an insurance agent?

You should drop the last four letters of your user name so that it will more accurately identify you.

I'm sorry......did I ruffle some feathers? Stick to the facts instead of shooting messengers and you might just learn something.
