I also REALLY like DGBA, but I'm freaked out by the huge ask of spending $650-850/week for their leads. I just....I just don't have that kind of start up capital. I just don't, especially as I'd be required to be a full time agent, depending on making sales, and I'd be absolutely dependent on the commission. I have no interest in facing a LuLaRoe-type of fallout, if I were met with massive chargebacks. I don't know how much this can be mitigated, but it seems like a disaster waiting to happen.

There may have been a slight misunderstanding there. To be very successful in telesales, you need to be in the mindset of you have to spend money to make money and spending that money weekly will set you up for success. We are a 100% telesales operation, so with us we can't just recommend you go knock some doors to drive some commissions, therefore we lay out a business plan to succeed. That said, I'd estimate 25% of our sales force is spending $1000 a week or more, and placing $20k or more monthly, with our top agent last month placing $45k by phone with our leads.

Here's what you get:
1. Leads very close to our cost to generate them. We are not a lead company.
2. CRM technology specifically tooled for FE telesales. No cost to you, big cost to us.
3. Next level training, and daily coaching.
4. Resource portal putting everything you can think of right at your fingertips.
5. Conservation team calling and managing lapses, NSF etc.
6. Lead generation training, should you want to control your funnel
7. Invitation to a private community discussing next generation marketing, sales and technology. No secrets here, we give it all away.
8. Strong contracts, with an open release policy as long as you don't have unpaid debts (but you won't leave because of 1-7 :) )

Feel free to PM me should you have any outstanding questions.

Edit: fat fingered that...meant 15% doing over $25k.

Dang man you have an FE agent who placed 45k via phone last month?

@StagekissPDX this industry may or may not be right for you . . . but it seems like the timing isn't good.

This is a business, not a job with a regular paycheck. Most agents fail for at least one of two reasons.

A lack of industry.

Under-capitalization.

Seems like you would fall in the 2nd category. The business will always be here. Put it on the back burner until you have 6 months of living expenses (at the least) socked away.

If you are living on a shoestring waiting on the next commission check to pay bills AND fund your business you will almost surely fail.

He's the guy in forbes doing $1 mil a yr?He obviously dialed into online system to get high traffic to his site? What's he spending a month ? $15k? Obviously you have to be generating $7 leads. I'm just shocked persistency in tele sales can be near face to face. I'd say 9 out 10 people i door knock say they never answer a # they don't recognize. Heck nobody i know answers unknown #'s.

Owner of Choicemutual.com, doing 80k+ a month as a solo agent. Nobody believes that, but it is true. He's Omaha's #1 agent.

That's a crazy number that is indeed hard to believe. Good on him if that's true. That's incomprehensible production especially via phone.
