Land Of Lincoln

Did any of you get paid by LOLH this week? The online statement at their website was posted/dated Monday 3-28-2016. No direct deposit has been received by my bank yet. Usually the D.D. happens the day after the statement is posted.

Haven't recieved Feb yet only January so far.

Thanks for replying Sam! I'll give it another day or two. Was concerned that LOLH might have lost my Banking Info for Direct Deposit. The Feds coming in and shaking up the company this year could cause anything to happen.

----------

I even don't know they have online info about their - our statements. Where I should go? Isn't it too early yet?

LOLH has paid has posted statements, and paid us, about the 28th of each month. If it was a weekend, they kicked it out a couple days early.

The way you view your statements is to go to https://llhportal.valence.care/LogonBrokers.jsp , Log In, then click on the "Commissions" link on the left side of the page. You'll see the current and all prior months statements. Click on an individual statement link to see the details of who paid, how much, what the subsidy was, etc..

I like (almost) everything about Land of Lincoln Health. Before the financial losses mounted, LOLH was far more agent and customer friendly than Aetna, BCBS, Humana, UHC...all of the big boys.

LOLH is now like a really nice handicapped person who's struggling up a flight of stairs. You want to help, but there's not much you can do.

I checked for the entire period from January 1st till today: no statement comes up?

It is possible that you can't see commission statements for the same reasons I can't.
1. Click on "User List" on the left side navigation.
2. Check your "Role"
If your Role is Broker-Agent, this is the reason. In order to see your commission you need to be Broker-Owner. I've been asking LL to change it for me for the last 2 weeks. Today I was told that it will be changed next week.
Plus they said I should see commission in my bank on Friday 04/01. But I have a feeling that it will not happen. Let's wait..

Morning 04/01/2015 Ok I got the commission. Finally. :-)

I had deposit for my commission today, but still unable to reach my statement. Usually:yes: they mail me one later.

And I am listed as Broker-Owner. Their web never have been good enough.

Land of Lincoln Health updated its provider directory today. Delnor Hospital in Geneva, IL. has been removed from the list of in-network providers.

As most of you know by now, LOLH says that the University of Chicago hospital was not removed from it's listing of in-network providers. Someone at the company made a mistake by stating that it was removed. (FWIW..the University of Chicago hospital website does NOT list Land of Lincoln Health as an approved insurance, however. Source: Insurance Plans - The University of Chicago Medicine)

I'm hoping this sudden disappearance of Delnor hospital is simply a LOLH technical mistake as well. The Cadence Health website still lists Land of Lincoln Health as an accepted insurance. Source: Exchange Plans 2016 - Managed Care - Northwestern Medicine

In true Chicago and Illinois fashion, Cronyism is alive and well at Land of Lincoln Health!

"In Illinois, the Land of Lincoln Health Mutual Health Insurance Company reported its assets were $107 million and net losses were $91 million for 2015. Illinois has already announced that it will no longer accept new customers.

The Illinois co-op is not transparent about its expenses, however. When other expenses are tabulated, its financial condition could be worse than shone on its books.

Land of Lincoln’s sponsor is the Metropolitan Chicago Health Council (MCHC). In its annual report, Land of Lincoln states the salary for CEO Daniel Yunker was only $83,000.

MCHC reports his real income is $460,000 more. The same for Kevin Scanlon, who works for nothing according to their annual report, but received a whopping $916,000 in compensation.

Land of Lincoln also paid an unexplained $55,000 in “dues” to MCHC."

Are they 10,000 and 20,000 smarter than me? I don't think so:no:

There's very little info in LLH's broker portal. You can see members active and cancelled - that's about it - not even pd to date info. Harken & Coventry pretty much the same.

Nothing like the massive amount of info we (used to) get in BCBSIL's
