Laptop with an in-office monitor, or monitors depending on your preference. That's the easiest way to go.

This may be a dumb question, and yes I'm a newby .. but why would you need 2 monitors?

It makes work much easier. You don't know until you have experienced it. Think of working on an elementary school desk for a kindergardener. Not much room. It's the same with multiple monitors, you have more room to open multiple programs. My problem with one screen was I had several programs open and would get sidetracked flipping through the programs looking for info.

Other recommended office equipment was an ear piece for your phone.

i went with a 17inch laptop so i can center it, current desktop monitors are off to the side, hurts my neck too much, when i meet with a client i will close the lid!
