Leads Per Week

How did you like the Peter Walker interview ? Will you endorse his opinions ? Do you think your business plan applies to everyone except for JD ? Are you being completely realistic about the work schedule you describe ? What if you don't feel good ? What if the car breaks down ? What if the baby gets sick ? Lot of things can throw you off, right ? How many things in life have worked out exactly as you were told ? Tell me something,if an agent in your downline spends $930 a week for 30 leads, writes 4k a week on your contracts, how much do you put in your pocket from that block of business, less 20% for charge backs ?

I thought Peter sounds like a really sharp guy. I'm pretty sure he is going to do well from what I heard there. I didn't see any conflicting opinions. I think agents should learn to set their own appointments first before they hire an appointment setter. He may not agree with that. But I don't think I've ever met anyone with 100% the same opinions as me.

If you don't feel good. Broke= work anyway. Rich= do whatever you want to do. Same with any business

Car breaks down? Baby sick? What are you going to do? Go on welfare. I was a single parent from the time my son was 1-year old until I remarried 5-years later. **** happens. You have to prepare for it.

Life as planned? Make good decisions and build emergency funds and it goes pretty well. Sounds like you could listen to a little Dave Ramsey.

If an agent in my downline paid me $930 per week for 30 leads (outside of Florida) I wouldn't care about over rides because I would be making $5 per lead. Multiply that by 2,500 leads per week $12,500 X 50 weeks per year $625,000 and pretty soon that would be some nice income. But we sell them 30 leads for $780 and we do make over rides. If the agent sells Oxford he gets 120% and we make 120%. That's 50/50. That's fair isn't it?

Has Crane taken over your account?

Please,do not spin me.

I want you to tell everyone on this thread the answer to my question.

I'll touch it up for you.

Tell me something,if an agent in your downline spends $780 a week for 30 leads, writes 4k a week on your contracts, how much on average,(considering all your carriers, the spread) do you put in your pocket from that block of business.

Your a straight up guy,c'mon,go ahead and tell us.

Just throw a number out so we know.

Thank You.

LOL.

First off, you aren't seeing 30 people a week, you are buying 30 leads. Nobody is going to set all of those. Some on here say that they are able to sit 70% setting them themselves, though that seems a bit high. I buy 30 leads and use a setter. I can run up to 21 appointments a week from Tuesday through Thursday, but realistically she is able to set 15-18 of them. I never get home past 8pm and even that is rare. Many weeks I have a little bit of service work or a referral to do on Monday and/or Friday, but sometimes I don't.

Granted, I'm averaging more like $4500 a week because I don't work that hard, but the hourly rate is very good.

Josh nailed it, thanks you kept me from going on a rant lol

First of all why would you care? If you are getting all you can get why would you care what I get. That type of thinking doesn't get you anywhere.

But, here is the straight answer.

We never take more than a 50/50 cut on any agent. If the agent is making 115% we never make more than the other 115%. It just doesn't seem right.

And Todd will back me up on that. And he's who you need to be asking all these questions to. He's getting the other 115% on yours.

If some agents here just did their own thing and stop worrying about the little things of others they would be too busy to care. Now asking questions to actually learn is one thing, we all had to start somewhere but I guess some guys (girls) feel the need to drink on the weekend and blast people who actually know what they are talking about. If I blatantly have ignored your private message in the past this is the reason.

Hey guys,

How many FRESH leads do you buy a week? Or more broadly how much due you budget a week for leads? I'm thinking of stepping up from 20 to 25 DM leads, and while the cost is higher I trust the ROI higher.

The ROI won't be higher, if anything it will be lower as you increase leads after a certain point.

Who said I cared?

I just want to see the marketers on the this forum put the actual facts (I'm numbers) out there for the new guys. They need to understand the motivation of the guys on this forum who are using it to build down lines, sell leads, promote their organizations on the fe forum.

Listen to Peter Walker's comments on John Galt's recording in regards to the fe forum. Nuff said.

No need to snappin at me dude, I like you, have lots of
respect for you, especially since you're a big Settlers guy.

Per your advice, I will ask Todd so let's drop it. I'm getting ready to put my boat in the water, catch some fish, some rays.

I apologize for getting you riled up.
