Leads Per Week

If some agents here just did their own thing and stop worrying about the little things of others they would be too busy to care. Now asking questions to actually learn is one thing, we all had to start somewhere but I guess some guys (girls) feel the need to drink on the weekend and blast people who actually know what they are talking about. If I blatantly have ignored your private message in the past this is the reason.

What's wrong with agents asking marketers, imo's how much money they make ?

Do I need your permission to ask a question on the forum ?

I only occasionally drink a beer, like maybe with a pizza or some tacos.

Ignoring my private message ?

What are you trying to accomplish by ignoring me ?

What does that say about you ?

You pm'd me first, suggested we meet up whenever it was convenient, right ?

Thought you wanted to meet and greet.

You flippin' on me dude ?

Lol

Asking anyone how much money they make is generally considered poor etiquette

Do I need your permission to ask a question on the forum ?

No, and no one needs your permission to criticize the question you ask

Mmmm. Pizza and tacos

Ignoring my private message ?

Dude has apparently been sick. There's a thread about that, unless your narcissism limits you to threads you create

What are you trying to accomplish by ignoring me ?

You seem extraordinarily ignorable imho

What does that say about you ?

Um..............

You pm'd me first, suggested we meet up whenever it was convenient, right ?

Sounds like you're offering to host. Good for you.

Thought you wanted to meet and greet.

He just ain't that into you, bro.

You flippin' on me dude ?

Now you're sounding a bit unstable.

Lol

I reckon that about covers it.

Back to the original question. I started with 30 leads per week and quickly ran out of people to see. I have upped it to 45 and will run there for a while to see how sales go. I've been able to average around 7k or more per week when mixed in with TM and a couple Internet leads.

For me it's not trying to prove big numbers but more about consistency. I want to see where my cap is then roll back from there instead of the other way around. There's nothing worse than having the energy to get up and go and nobody to see.

My week is generally Monday through Friday in the field. First appointment at 10am can be an hour to 3 away with the last around 5 or 6. Going to move to 7 appointments a day finishing at 4pm M,Wed, Fri and work late Tuesdays and Thursdays when my additional leads start rolling in

We are all different in our logic. My wife is helping with the scrubbing and sending, I have an appointment setter, so 90 percent of what I'm doing is selling.

I reckon that about covers it.

The message I ignored wasnt about meeting up, it was some other dumbass question he had about something, I glanced at it, shook my head and hit delete, I dont even know what it was about, but it was certainly about to waste my time so again I hit delete.

That's a flat out lie.

I simply asked who Peter Walker was on this forum after I listened to your interview you shared with us.

In fact, he points out on the very interview you conducted with him about this type of negativity that agents like you bring to the forum.

What a coincidence ?

Lol

Are you with CNN?

I'm not going to get in the middle of a fight, but I will say that Matt Lowery aka John Galt is a great guy and certainly a man of his word. He definitely wasn't someone that I had in mind when I talked about negativity on the forum.

Agents mailing with RGI & receiving a steady flow of 25+ leads per week... how many zips are you mailing? And are your stacks coming in mixed?

That depends entirely on where you are working. AN agent working in Chicago will have a very different amount of zip codes and counties he needs to work than an agent working in Bugtussel, IL.

Figure your area by population. Get out a map and figure out exactly where you would like to work. Now research how much population there is in that area. Assume they are mailing 1,000 mail pieces to generate 10 leads. Now take however many leads you want per week and convert it to 1,000s. So 25 leads per week would be 2,500 mail pieces per week.

If these numbers are true for you, you would need 30,000 homes (in your age and income brackets) to generate 25 leads per week and take 90 days to get through your market area. It's best if you have more.

Your up line with RGI can help you with all this. It can also be a problem if too many agents are already working in the area you want to work in. So far that has only been a problem for one agent with us and he was unwilling to work in any county but one. (He was definitely NOT in beast mode.)

I don't know what you mean by stacks coming in mixed. Do you mean do they completely mail one zip code before moving to the next one? Yes, and they mail the zips in the order that you put them in. Direct mail will usually keep you in a tighter area than tele-leads but it's not like they are all next door neighbors either. You still have to optimize your route.

But you will always have scraggler leads too. If you worked 47788 5 weeks ago and are three zip codes away now, you will still get a late arrival from 47788 this week. That happens with any mail house.

I've gotten two leads this year from a mail house I haven't used in over a year and a half ago. Some people just hang on to them.
