Thanks for answering back. I didn't ask my question well enough, I need to find some EOB's (going to take awhile) and I'll get back and ask again.No. UHC has never covered flouride treatment. I always pay $25

You started out destroying good in the world at a young age. This thread reminds me of the time when I was in 1rst grade and I told some of the other kids that Santa Claus was not real and was just a guy in a red suit. Some of the kids knew I was right and some kids kind of believed me and some told me I was stupid and they kept right on believing in Santa until the 3rd grade.
That old critter don't know if he is foot or horseback. Hes like a moth that got drawn to the back porch light that wont go away.
That is not what I am saying at all. The truth that you are so desperate not to understand is you can never get out of these plans more then you have paid in premiums. These wanna be Dental Insurance Plans my wanna be insurance agent friend are not really insurance at all but a savings plan that pays no interest and charges you fees.
The truth is that you fancy yourself as some kind of intelligent well informed consumer who really knows what he is doing and you are not liking my suggestion here that any 2nd grader armed with the knowledge of simple math could show you that these plans are losers designed to be feel good policies for the uninformed and foolish. You can click your heels 2 or 3 times and say you have a Dental Plan but what you have in reality is nothing but a very bad savings plan at best.
In short you are a failure as an educated insurance consumer. You have fallen for a bogus policy that any simpleton could see is worthless. You need to pick up your game because right now you stink at it.
Have I gotten back more than I have paid in for:
Home Insurance? No. (I did get benefit in excess of premium in one year.)
U65 Health Insurance? No. (Although I have had non-cash benefit in excess of premium in a few years.)
Various group term life policies? No.
Various group cancer policies? No.
Various group and financial institution accidental death policies? No.
Medicare? Possibly but I don't know, I have not run the comparison. (I am sure I have had non-cash benefit in excess of premiums paid.)
Medicare Supplement? No.
Car Insurance? No. (Although I have had cash benefit in excess of premiums paid for one vehicle for one year a few times.)
Dental Insurance? No. (Although I had one year where I was very close to getting cash benefits in excess of premiums. I never pulled the EOB's and premium payment records to check it out precisely.)
Vision Insurance? No.
Does that mean any of those are not Insurance? No.
I'll go along with the kids that told you that you were stupid. Any fool should know that you get more presents when you believe in Santa.
Apparently you need to burn down your house, knock out some teeth to get dentures, wreck your car (probably two cars or maybe even 3), and ask a surgeon if you can get one of those fancy open heart surgeries.
Then, it'll have been worth it all.
(Taking this philosophy... I hope you don't have Life Insurance...)
[/QUOTE]There is no good excuse for some of these insurance agents in this forum to not know every single one of these Dental plans are useless as a guy on a insurance web site giving out advice who don't even have an insurance license. Unlike these agents you Lost Dollar have a good excuse for being so clueless and blind.
Try to look at insurance as you would a bet. Because that is in essence what you are doing. When you make a bet with the insurance company on one of these Dental Plans the odds are like betting a dollar and the most you can ever win is 75 cents. Only a fool makes that bet at those worthless odds.
