My 1st LH Client!!

I like this one better except I am not sure I like the premiums being quoted since they are for best case underwriting that many will not qualify for.

You HAVE to send the best (or lowest) rates available, no matter if most will qualify or not....and that's with ANY marketing. It seems logical to us, not to do that, but in reality if u didnt, u would just lose out to the company that did send the lowest rates....they would get all the calls, or return mailers.

No different then when I sold cars...if u didnt have the lowest Ad on a car (even tho 95% of the ppl didnt want THAT particular car) in the paper, ppl would go to the dealership that had the lowest price. And if u didnt get the ppl at least ON the lot, u dont sell cars....no different here!!

I'm not working LH TV leads. I'm working Sr Life TV leads. The quality may be somewhat dependent on the TV program that the TV commercial runs on.

Some people fail with TV leads and some succeed....just like Dir. Mail leads.......just like tele-marketed leads.....just like cold calling.......just like direct transfers, just like any kinda lead out there.

There ain't no magic leads. Otherwise all the Co.'s and agencies in the country would already be using them.

I know a thing or tow about working leads and TV leads are by far the worst I've ever worked.

The manager used to justify the poor results of the YV leads by saying that, "while you won't sel as many of them, you will sell a higher premium on the few that do buy".

What a load of crap. I will say this, you guys at LH and sr life are experts at putting lipstick on a pig.

I understand the reasoning behind it but the majority of insurance mailers do not quote rates and I would prefer no rates quoted on this mailer.. When I price a piece of antique glass or pottery, I will usually price it at a little more than actually want. You can always come down on the price but it almost impossible to go up. The same thing on the "best rate" quote.. You create a road block that has to be overcome unecessarily if the people don't qualify for the quoted rates.

Settlers is not approved in NJ

but if this piece was used, the old geezers would still say

"oh its insurance, i thought it was a free goverment program":D

I need to help a couple cancel their LH plans that I replaced. Anybody know if they are going to give my clients the run around? Should I be on the phone with them?

I just called their customer service to check on their cancellation procedures. The guy tells me that they need at least 5 business days from the time a fax comes in for it to be processed. What a joke. My clients next payment is scheduled for next Monday so I guess I'll have them call. Hopefully they don't try to scare them or anything.

On a side note, I just found out that these guys are located in my home state. As if Arizona doesn't get enough bad press as it is...
