I find it hard to believe that Jay didn't offer/send you a contract to review. And the way you bash Noemi, have you ever spoken with her? She's a very nice lady. Sounds like you are leaving out a few pieces of the puzzle.

If I said so let's make it clear I had friendly conversations with this person quite often. Never implied I was interested in working with him. In fact he even came and did a ride along with me a few years ago. He clearly misunderstood the intention, and then attempted to manipulate it for his gain.

Who was the other person with SL that you were wanting to contract with?

She refused to speak with me, and I gave her plenty of opportunity because I respect her in the industry.

There is no need to review a contract because I had no intention of working with him. If I called you and said hey Jay can you introduce me to your friend Ron why do you think that means I want to work with you?

I was looking to have a conversation about what they have to offer, not work under or be recruited by Jay.

So why not contact them directly? I've seen managers knock heads over the very situation you are creating (especially if the agent can make 6 figures)

Because I viewed him as a friend until this situation happened and figured it would help instead of cold calling Ron Paul to have someone introduce me. Learning more and more there are few friends in the industry just people making money off of people, and waiting for a chance to stab each other in the back.

Imagine this, your friend asks you to introduce them to the insurance company you work for because they are interested in the products.

However, after they have seen everything they needed to see, they decide to buy a policy from another agent in your office instead of you.

AND they hope you understand because you are their friend. Come on man lol

You shoulda just went directly to them instead of involving your "friend."
