Overcoming No Money Objection

If agents need a gimmick than this thing just might be your ticket.

But in reality I can't see how it would even be an effective gimmick. Just say for that small % of FE prospects that are not on pat D that this could save them some money. It's going to be a couple of months before they realize any savings and if anyone thinks they are going to call the agent back up to buy an FE policy then they are living in dreamland.

Even if they are ready to buy at that time they will have mailed in more reply cards and some agent that doesn't use gimmicks will have gotten in there.

But, if they wanted a policy in the first place they would find a way to buy it without this discount card.

And, if a discount card is so important to them then why not just sell them an RNA and they will get a free discount card that's not just limited to their Rx?

The only value I can see to this for an agent is to make money off peddling the cards. If that's the approach then an agent will probably like it. If thinking this will help sell more FE then I think they agent will be sorely disappointed.

Of course you will hear differently from the ones that recruiting for this. But that's the case with anything.

I know you wanna do it. Just sign up under me.

It's not a discount card.

The one lacking in understanding is you. Nor have I changed my opinion that this is a scam. If you wish to continue to argue with me over my opinion then I guess you will get this one moved to the fight club as well. Maybe that's your goal?

Jdeasy is the resident non-expert when it comes to LSSR everyone. He doesn't understand it's not a discount card no matter how many times I try to explain it to him. PAPs are damn near the ONLY solution these people have to save money on the expensive drugs they take.

You don't think low income seniors haven't tried everything out there they know of? They have. They have Medicare Part D, they have all the RX Discount cards, and they STILL have certain name brand drugs that cost them big $$$.

If you got to Medicare.gov and look at the top 6 ways to save money on your prescriptions:

Here is a pretty woman with no affiliation to anything to explain it:

Patient Assistance Programs - YouTube

Here is a customer ad for LSSR:
Lone Star Script Care Services - YouTube

Here is an agent introduction:
Lone Star Script Care Agent Introduction - YouTube

I guess I should at least be thankful jdeasy has stopped using the word scam.

:D

The fact is that is where it's headed again unless you both grow up and quit trying to antagonize the other.

What there for me to grow up about? I gave my opinion and I even explained my opinion. The guy can't handle that opinion so he resorts to personal attacks.

That make me think he wants to get it moved.

The ones that need to grow up are the ones that are too immature to handle dissenting opinions.

JD has a right to his opinion, like anyone else, and he clearly doesnt like this...so be it.

I happen to agree & disagree with his point....1) Like he says, if you NEED this to sell, you will be disappointed & I dont believe it will help much, if any at all. But 2) I dont agree that if you use this, you NEED it...its just an add to your bag & see if you can save a few clients some $$$.

I dont even know if I like it, til I use it....Im sending out a SOC announcement about it to all my clients today & in the next few weeks, that'll tell me a lot. Also, theres no way in hell (unless Im about to walk out without an app & have nothing to lose) Im using this as a sales tool. This would be once Ive sold the client, I may offer this as an added bonus & try to get them to buy a bigger policy or one for their child or grandchild. If you are using this just to get an initial sale, then I agree with JD.

He is obviously not the brightest fish in the sea. He had his thread removed for fighting, gets a gift of another one and starts fighting on it. WTF?

Puppy, learn to shut up. ha

The grown ups of this forum can handle apposing opinions and make up their own mind. Being confrontational will turn away a lot more then it will sway.

Pharm assistance programs have and will continue to help many seniors. They are legit. They even advertise them on TV. If a senior isn't getting help from his doctor's office to use them then this sounds like a great way for them to take advantage of it. Can't find any complaints about Lone Star. Making a buck isn't a dirty word to me so I see no problem with an agent making one helping them. And I would follow up to sell a FE policy. Not every sale has to be a one hit.

I pretty much agree with your point, EXCEPT the bold part above....after all, they advertise Senior Life, Lincoln Heritage & spray on glue to fix boat leaks on tv too!! :twitchy:
