Overcoming No Money Objection

I pretty much agree with your point, EXCEPT the bold part above....after all, they advertise Senior Life, Lincoln Heritage & spray on glue to fix boat leaks on tv too!! :twitchy:

Ha. I was talking about drug manufacturers like Pfizer who advertises their assistance program.

Yeah.. and drug assistance programs appear and then disappear just as fast.. Consider the typical low income FE buyer.. Once they start getting something for free, they gt an entitlement mentality..Just who do you think they are going to get mad at if their drug is removed from the list? Won't be the drug company..

Are you talking about the programs FROM the drug manufacturers themselves? I'm pretty sure they have been around for a long time and don't come and go. You might be talking about the companies like Lone Star that act as a middle man. I'm sure they come and go. There are several of them. Most people using the programs are doing so through their doctor's office direct with the manufacturer. Some office's are better about helping patients then others. If you come across someone who isn't getting help from their doctor and probably paying more then they need be, would you tell them about a company like Lone Star? Seems to me that would be better then walking away letting them continue to pay more then need. Even if we didn't want to tie into their savings with a FE sale I would hope we would let them know about the programs.

1) Like he says, if you NEED this to sell, you will be disappointed & I dont believe it will help much, if any at all.

Its not about needing it to sell, its about whether it can be useful as a tool to help you sell more insurance. If you believe it can help it just might. If you don't believe it will help it probably won't, which is exactly how JD describes the Foresters member benefits.

It would seem that this might give you and opportunity to "meet" with existing and potential clients to fact find and also to let them know what is available. We do not know what a customer needs unless we are "there" to discuss it. An example for me is that for the last 2 months I have been calling existing clients that I have not seen in 1 to 5 years. If I am in an area on appointments I make a list and drop by to say hello and to "check on them"

I have written over 40 additional life policies and 4 medicare advantage policies on them or referrals from them. Not bad for a meeting in which I had no idea what was there until I got there.

Seems the free prescription might be a good reason to "meet" with a potential customer. If I have 20 meetings a week I am a happy agent.
