You don't work this demographic. So you don't realize just how cutthroat it is.
I have worked the poorest of the poor demo. did well with it. Just did not like it. To much service work and people that do not do or even mean what they say. I still have many great client in it I just have not looked for that demo in years. And you are correct, I met some of the biggest shisters doing it. Second only to some Annuity Only agents. Nowhere near all of them, but enough to take notice. Mostly revolving around replacing policies.
But as far as tattling to mommy DOI? Just has never been who I am. I would suspect that agent ran off to teacher early in life also. Or reports post here. Usually, someone that picks a fight then starts sniveling when smacked. There were some local agents that I have sat across the table with many times undoing their damage. I might disparage them and their dog, But never call the DOI.
I have helped many insurance customers and clients call the company of the replacing agent to get stuff reversed, and charge back to the agent. So I guess that is kinda tattling. And many of those were not replacing one of my policies. I am rarely replaced and virtually never 1st year replaced.
Of course, I am winding down now and only work request. So that is completely different than hunting. More farming and tending.
But you are completely wrong that the death benefit can be assessed. So I would not give that false information to clients. But agents like you have done that. They have paid dearly for making such claims.
Maintenance of Reserve - Can you explain how that works and if exercised it's relationship to CVs and DB please? I may have it wrong.
How have the wrongdoing agents paid dearly? Loss of license or big fines?
For clarification - none of this is meant to be argumentative.
