I never have. Nor had a complaint.

I don't know about "many", but yes, there's complaints. We have a big problem with one particular IMO in this region that sends agents to travel. It's mostly with KSKJ. They can't beat KSKJ and they can't join KSKJ so they are taught to trash KSKJ's financials, the fraternal, the state guaranty fund, etc.

You will agents from this same IMO pulling the same stunts in Indiana, Ohio, Ark, Ky and Tn. So it's definitely systemic. They can't blame a rogue agent. Although that's their tactic. Just blame the agent. And claim it's been corrected. But it's like the Banker's Life stories you hear. It the same stories in every state. That's not the rogue agent.

So I will definitely file complaints when that happens. As long as the client signs on too. It usually comes down to a he said/she said thing and the agents say the client is lying. Not much the DOI can do in those situations. But occasionally one of them is dumb enough to put it in writing. Some have denied they did that. Even though they attached their business card to it. One was dumb enough to put on the replacement form, (when they bother to do a replacement form), that it was being replaced so the client could be covered under the state guaranty fund. That one got pretty serious for that agent. Although he said they took it "out of context".

I had another IMO owner/partner, something file an anonymous complaint against me this year. Posed a "state employee" is why they needed to be anonymous. Just made up some stuff. I'm sure they never thought the DOI would share enough info for me to know who it was. The lady at the DOI told me she knew it was bogus but under our rules I had to answer. She said to just answer, "I have no idea what this person is talking about", send it to her and she would dismiss it. I did and she did.

You don't work this demographic. So you don't realize just how cutthroat it is. Just look at this thread. Todd King "implying" how other IMO's work but refusing to name them. This one guy slandering Travis and bring his wife into it.

Out in the field it's far worse than this.

I don't know what you're asking. Or why in this thread. I'm not a doctor. Nor do I play one on appointments. I would simply ask the question of the applicant. If she says yes then she doesn't qualify and I give her number to mofo or PM. If she says no I write it up.

Sounds like the applicant cannot answer yes or no to the health question. According to what I just researched on this subject, if a stroke is suspected a CT scan of the brain will let you know yes or no.

To me it's weird that an applicant would say the doctor thought they may have had a stroke. I believe the doctor would have performed that CT scan to know for sure if a stroke or TIA had occurred.

I'd bet she was told she's had a TIA but she's giving a vague answer because she doesn't want to be declined like she was with the last agent.

I had a mild stroke and the CT scan even showed that I'd also had a stoke a week earlier (but they couldn't tell what caused it). Like her, I was typing on on the computer when it happened and I've taken no medication for it.

When I was talking with the Dr., I called it a TIA(because I had no after effects), and he said it's a stroke. On the app it doesn't matter, because I think every app asks about both.

Going back just a little, addressing the "attacking" situation. You've had it out for me since I joined the Forum. You and Travis both as a matter of fact. I called Travis out on some BS years ago and it was on from there. Let me ask you one simple question and this will show exactly where you stand with me...have you ever once "liked" any of my posts? Not a single one. Don't come back and say it's because I've never said anything to be like because we all know that's just not true. Before you ask, I have "liked" many of your posts...even ones that have nothing to do with insurance. I've tried my best to be nice to you but you've just continued to be an ass to me.
