Reciprocal Release

Get a "no questions asked" release in writing at all times. I would not trust anybody that puts any stipulations on the release. Or that says its their policy but won't put it in writing. You don't want to be wasting your time negotiating release stipulations.

Read the posts on this forum about this subject. I have run into this so many times and with nothing in writing, you are outta luck. You cannot rely on trust in this area.

Sometimes it is the up line that won't release you.

Yes. It is always the upline which a light bulb just went off Crazy. Call the carrier you want a release from and ask if there is a "higher" upline then the person you are dealing with? If there is, the higher up(s) have the power to release you and typically, since they don't know you or have any personal time invested in you, they will release you or push their guy to release you.

Try that. If he has a higher up, that may be your key?

Since it's UHC, the FMO has to be the one to grant the release anyway. Of course, the FMO will probably be going on the advice of the SGA anyway.

FMO said I had to deal with the SGA, I think it is a mute point since AEP is close. I will just make sure to clearly voice my opinions of this guy whenever I get the opportunity. He even claimed to have an open release policy, but just as was stated above, if it isn't in writing it doesn't mean ****.

First, it's a moot point but more importantly -

Who is that SGA and FMO that want to hold you hostage? It's important that this kind of crap is made public.

Premier is the same company that sends me e-mails about great products not approved in my state. I am not very impressed with them.
