John Maxwell is great, and I have read Entreleadership by Dave Ramsey probably 20 times... thats one of my favorites (even though I dont agree with some of his other advice)
 
You need to look into the one card system. Away from the office at the moment... but if you pm me, I will forward some information.

It helps you create a platform to work from. Good stuff.
 
Personally, I find No Bull Selling by Hank Trisler great fun to read.

I just opened it up when I got it off the shelf to give you the title and author, and found this little gem (p25):

You may be reading this book looking for the secret of success. Well, I don't know it.
