Final expense connections referring to the appointment setting service. In terms of AmMem I see value in the carrier beyond just price... I. E. Instant standard approval with recent stints, nitro prescriptions, etc.
OK. As I said earlier, you should broaden your experience. I had AmMem until Jan 1 of this year when they went captive with securus.
Never once needed to write them.
I understand. I do agree with broadening horizons and have spoken with many of the TOP at many of the other IMOs and even LI (LOL). I think each offer value and their own particular uniqueness. I believe that anyone with a drive and intellectual capacity of an average person can be successful with most or all of them relatively speaking.
In terms of value to the client I believe in service and ensuring they do get the most value for their available budget. I know many are going to disagree but I personally don't get all bent out of shape if I run an FEX quote and see that say... Oxford is $6.00 cheaper monthly. Many times I will even say there may be carriers out there cheaper that I'm not with but this is what I can offer paired with my personal servicing. Yes, the question becomes why not offer the absolute cheapest and provide personal service... I understand and agree that this can be an ultimate quest in terms of offering.
For me, I believe that many of the folks I service may or may not have protected themselves of I had not stopped by, followed up, picked clovers, whatever.... In the end, if they are protected and it's $6.00 - $8.00 higher than what I could have possibly offered than I help them find $30.00 in savings a month and earn the difference. Again, I know many will disagree here.
New products and companies will continue to surface and I don't think there is anything wrong with being 100% independent and continuously adding them to the kit.
For me personally I do better when I can have good carriers to focus with amd an IMO that delivers to my unique strengths and what I can personally offer the market place.
At the end of the day people give money to solve a problem they have or a desire they have. If they're not covered I'm the event of their death I can solve that problem and be within a few dollars difference of all carriers for most age ranges.
For me to serve the market and maintain a positive mindset and remain effective... The leveraging of an IMO that can deliver to my personal needs is what is paramount for me.
IMHO Securus has been great! I don't have a lot of experiences with other IMOs per se but I've done well with Securus.

You can get 110-120% contracts all over the place and the same leads you are working with Securus for $26 Each.
Right now you are getting hosed by Securus.
I wish you the best.
You out of Georgia?
No, not out of Georgia... You???

Who on here has interacted with, knows someone who is active, or is currently with Securus (in the last year). I ask because some of the seemingly assumed comments are a tad off base.
I'm also curious, all of the top dog IMOs have many successful and very profitable agents... So it begs the question... Is it the IMO or the agent or the combination of the IMO offering and the agents strengths?
It seems, similar to denominations in religion... Everyone's IMO is the best or "right".
If one is to consider some top characteristics such as...
Fixed lead cost
Mentorship
Training
Contract level (street)
Carriers
And then apply a factor to each in terms of most important to the respective agent are folks on here arguing that their IMO can offer all the above to full satisfaction for every agent?
I have not had a single issue with any of these particular factors and in fact have had experience in which some of the factors have WAY exceeded my expectations and I do feel I have a high standard. Are there cheaper carriers... SURE! Are there better training platforms.... Probably. Etc etc... At the end of the day why can't the top producers help develop and influence enhancements of there are opportunities for improvement?
