Securus Lead's Question!!!

It doesn't matter if they're old or not. If you get 100 aged dm leads and doorknock those leads you're going to make good money. Keep us posted on your results.

"Bitching " Josh I was asking a questions from all of you, How could a person call asking a question Bitching???

By the way I have ask for the 100 Leads from the agent and I am going to go to each one this week myself...so I will see what's really up!

Thanks for all of you guys help....my friend is even like he's ok now with spending the money, I guess its the old man in me that does not like to waste a dime...and $1,000 bucks is a $1,000 bucks!

But if he is cool with it now...so am I shoot it was not my money!

:D

100 leads are 100 reasons to call or see someone. The odds are some haven't purchased anything, or if they did may not have purchased the correct product, or purchased an overpriced product. TPA is correct: you need to get in the door, once in the door build rapport and just ask questions building to your presentation and the close. The shorter and simpler the presentation is the better. There may or may not be any business there but if you did a professional and credible presentation ask for referrals. If you door knock and they're not home introduce yourself to the neighbors.

This is a new agent and $10 leads are cheap but if they had any work ethic and training at all there should have been at least three sales which would cover the cost of the leads.

Leads aren't a guarantee to write business but are merely opportunities; change the mindset and maybe with some effort the sales will follow.;)

When I first started with Securus, with no prier experience in this industry, I ordered fifteen aged leads at $10 a pop. Essentially $150 total, and after working six leads in six hours, I sat with three and made a profit of $1300, ($2480 AP) which was in my bank account 3 days later. I can personally attest for the quality of these leads. Your experienced friend may want to look in the mirror if he truly knocked on 100 doors with no policies written...

In my experience, the majority of clients do not remember sending a request for coverage in, and if they do, they were not expecting someone to show up. Honestly, it hardly matters if a lead is two weeks old or two months, I will work it the same. If you follow up with a client which declined a month prior they will more than likely not recall the visit, therefore making it another fresh visit. Perhaps he should go work these hundred leads again.

After scanning over this thread, I have to ask this question... Why are so many of you trying to set appointments over the phone? While that is an option, it is most certainly not the best way. I cannot stand cold knocking, will never do it, however I have leads with their signatures for a request of coverage. GO TO THE DOORS. Set appointments by calling the ones you have already door knocked, and they declined a presentation. They will not remember you if you allow a few weeks to pass!

Within my first six hours in the industry, I made $1300. Easiest money I have ever made, and this was with aged leads... Statistics do not lie. Door knocking is hands down the most successful way of working leads. The top producer for Securus last year made over 450K alone, without a team, and this was done through door knocking and a female appointment setter. Let the girls work the phones ;)

Come back when you have more experience. You will learn in time that appointment seting is the most efficient way to work. Does that mean that doorknocking will not work? Of course not, it's just not an efficient use of time. If you are with Securus ask Tim W if doorknocking is the best use of time.

Yesterday while riding in the car I could only think, you can teach people all the products you want, you can take them to a million meeting....but

You can't teach work ethic.....

If agents would ever learn to push themselves until they are dirt tired. It is worth it..I can't tell you how many times I have been so tired and then turn around and get an $800 sale at the end of the day!!
