Securus Raises Platinum Lead Prices By $4.00 (Nearly 20 Percent)

LH leads are notorious for being old, recycled, and not worth the paper it is printed on. JD is getting proven fresh exclusive leads. I am not exactly sure what is printed on those leads, you might want to ask him.

As far as building clients relationships, I couldn't agree more. You are one of those that still do it. It has become a lost art. I have a mix of different clients and I tend to do both. I work leads and not worry about the relationship building. However, if I am talking to a retired CEO that owned a company, its a different story. I will establish a relationship in greater detail. Matter of fact, the biggest term case I did this year we ended up being quite good friends. I email him every other week. I sent him a book just a couple weeks ago that I highly recommended. The title of that book is "Unbroken" about a WW2 pilot. One of the best books I have ever read. This could lead into other sales by building a relationship and I tend to agree with everything you are doing in your business. It's too bad its almost a lost art.

By the way, that term case did go through and approved at standard plus. 1M policy, 70 year old.

That's a great book/story. It's a true story of the power of the Gospel and how it changed the lives of two men and their families. Highly recommended.

+1 that is another message of the true story of an amazing man and his wild and crazy journey to survive and redeem himself.

Anyone here ever meet Sam Warren out of Mississippi? He was a preacher and simply knocked them dead with Final Expense. Once time he was on a call and the lady says "I'm gonna have to pray on this". Sam says "Good! Because I'm a Preacher. We can pray together!
So they get down on the floor on their knees and start praying. The lady looks up at Sam and says "Sam, I believe the Lord told me I should get this".

To which Sam replies "I know, I heard him also...and he said take the big one!'

Sounds like he would be a perfect fit for an agency called 3G fidelity

You cannot talk about Final Expense sales in Mississippi without mentioning Howard Catchings. He developed his agency selling "burial polices" on payroll deduction.. he never sold "life insurance"

Here is an article that has some of his comments. At least read his introduction on this page if you don't want to read it all.

Producer Roundtable: Living in a multicultural society, serving multicultural financial needs | LifeHealthPro

Howard is an amazing man.. and probably has sold more FE coverage than any one person I have known.

If you are in a reading mood, this article is about one of his agents and also has some comments from him...

Here are some of his accomplishments.. Not bad for someone selling 8-10K policies.

He is a past president of the Mississippi Association of Life Underwriters (now NAIFA-Mississippi) and the Jackson General Agents Managers Association, as well as a board member of the Jackson Association of Life Underwriters (Jackson-NAIFA). He served on NAIFA committees, GAMA committees, and MDRT committees, and was a board member of GAMA International. He is presently a member of the Nominations Committee of NAIFA. A long-time member of MDRT, he has been a member of the Court of the Table for 25 years and the Top of the Table for 17 years. He is also serving his second term on the Life Insurance and Health Foundation for Education (LIFE) Board of Directors. He serves on the MDRT Top of the Table Advisory Board.

Howard has served on the General Agent's Advisory Board of Transamerica Life insurance Company and has been a member of the President's Cabinet several times. He was recently on the Advisory Council of Standard & Poor's Rating Company.

How do you kep from paying more than $23 per lead if you do your own mail?

At a $425 1000 piece clip you would have to get back 19 leads per 1000 to stay under $23 per lead.

Where in the world do you get a 1.9% return?

It was m y understanding that the leads were $20.95 each and now they will be $25 each.

That might not be the case but that's what I was told by a higher up at Securus.

Do they provide KY as a prelude to the screwing?

What does Kentucky have to do with THAT?
