I would like this info as well since I am new to this business.

Marker77. I am also new to the business, and would like to learn more about selling over the phone. I have a offer to work for "big.com". They want $500, also want a comp business liability coverage. That seems like it runs around $600-$700. So the real cost is around $1200 for the first 45 leads. Part of the small print says you must sell at least 1 every 7 days, or your leads drop to 0. Does this sound correct?

The program that Marker77 and I are referring to has excellent training. We try to look at each and every agent interested in it and evaluate somewhat to see if they might be a good fit. Being 'green' doesn't necessarily matter. It's what your potential is. You can give me a call if you want further info.

how can an internet lead be guaranteed exclusive? Who can say those grubby little fingers didnt click over to another site to get quotes? lol. Common sense boys. Truly exclusive leads are generally referrals. Learn to getem, its a waste of resources if you don't. My humble opinion.
Your closing ratio will be very low over the phone/email. Get leads for your area and go smile at them face to face.
Smashing Pumpkins- Disarm you with a smile. lol. good luck

"Exclusive" internet leads....I believe that is an oxymoron for the following reasons;

A. The typical online quote shopper will enter their info into 3+ sites to find an instant quote.
B. The next thing they know, their phone rings non-stop for the next week and their email box gets jammed with quotes.
C. They either buy quickly from the first semi-lucid person to call or freeze up and make no decision at all.

Personally, I would never take a 70% Life contract in exchange for 50 SEO/Internet leads a month that are probably being called by dozens of other agents who bought leads through other services. You can say that they only go to Insure.com, submit their info, log off and wait by the phone, but I'm not buying it!

I am much happier with my current with a great IMO that offers me some fantastic Life carriers at 100% or higher.

For leads, my system is a hodgepodge of various methods that work for me, so if the wheel isn't broken....

Cheers!
