Senior Life Insurance Company Info

As an IMO with Sr Life I can start agents on what ever level I choose to based on production and experience. Most agents start on a 100 percent contract with vesting from day one. We provide direct mail leads on a cost per thousand of 295. We also offer health insurance to our top producers. We pay the commissions daily and policy is issued within 48 hours. We also offer trips and more.

BS! I start my agents at 80%. After they issue $10k they go to 85%. After they issue the next $25k they go to 90%. They can earn their way on up each rung of the ladder based on performance (results), not seniority. Plus they can get leads on credit (after 4 days of intensive training) and pay for them from commissions earned after they work the leads.

I also GIVE the agents in my office 50-100 FREE old leads (8 mos. - 3 yrs. old) to help with extra activity. Some other places SELL their old leads to their new agents, I GIVE them to my new and experienced agents.

Of course if someone just wants a broker's contract, and they don't need my help nor wish to be on SL's lead program they can start higher.

O....my bad they moved it up 5points since the Powells got off the LH drug rehab

You are right on the money. If you can't sale you should not be on any lead program. As for the lead repayment question each IMO can set up what ever lead repay they choose to.

Are you referring to sail as what you would do with a boat or sell as when a real insurance agent does when he or she actually helps the client?

Nobody understands what you mean by "can't sale" except we figure you either just got off the boat or are still trying to graduate 2nd grade.

So, you and Greg are both recruiting for SL and you claim you start you agents 20 points higher than him?
Is this correct?

That's great!! How do you have yours set up? Im able to do the same. I had everyone at one point on a fixed repay but I found that it works much better for my group teired based on the balance.

If you want to run an agency the right way, you would provide lead credits based on production, but the powells choose to make money off the leads and charge the agency managers full price for them and the agents. Financing is just a way to give the agents more time to sell a couple more policies so you can make some extra money off them.;):1wink:

Let's get real about lead credits. There is no such thing. If you like the way it sounds and you believe that you are getting lead credits so be. That proves your mental mindset.
At 295 per thousand for direct mail can't be beat.

I will agree with MGA that the per thousand cost for mailing is cheaper than most anywhere out there assuming the return rate is the same the only other issue is the agent paying for the mailing doesn't have exclusive use of the leads.

Now before you disagree MGA how else can other manager provide free old leads for people to start on?

Yes the agent does have exclusive direct mail leads with us. The actual direct mail lead is returned to your address so we never touch them. No one can ever get a copy of your returned leads with this setup.

Free old leads are just what it states. A lot of marketing companies keep a copy of every lead that any agent works and they recycle them over and over. That's how that works.
