Senior Life Services Vero Beach Fla

Long story short, I ran into two of these agents within the last week.

One dropped in while I was presenting to a prospect.

Ultimately, I let her pitch first, and two-plus hours later, I had to "alley-oop" and close the deal for her with Great Western. Yes, I let her have the deal (I'm a nice guy after all).

But did you get any for being a nice guy?:bump::twitchy:

My door doesn't swing that way.

Well well welll.....guess what guys, this was the agency I replaced here....David, I wonder if you were sitting with the same dumb agent that is on this audio, I wasnt as nice as you, but you are doing Gods work LOL :D:

If they have already cancelled the policy by the time you sell them the new one it's not a replacement. If they actually don't have anything in force, how is it a replacement?

In addition to JD's response, I was under the impression that she had not cancelled it before he got there, but that she cancelled it after seeing his offer. In that case it would have been in force when she signed the app anyway.

Yep, I did ASSUME that it had already been cancelled and then didn't even think about it being able to be reinstated, so I answered without all of the info. My bad.

Depends on the company. Some conditional receipts state the coverage is effective upon signing the app and the first premium is paid. Others do not bind at the time of signing the app. For example, Standard Life and Casualty's condition receipt states the coverage is not effect until the policy is delivered to the insured.

Spoke to a couple, mid 50's,both with COPD that recently canceled coverage sold over the telephone by this operation. They became very upset when they received the policies, realized they were rated NT on the app included with the policy. They were furious with the agent,he wasn't returning calls, also hadn't set up the billing on the Mr.'s policy as agreed.

We went ahead and called Pioneer,Am Am in Waco to get an understanding of what they had bought and learned they both had graded coverage with a 3 year wait.
These folks were told they had 1st day full benefit.

Further fact finding proved that the person they thought was their agent was using "Larry Jones "

Their agent of record according to home office had a different name.

To much to type here but these folks were told the minimum they could take out was 20k.

They both had Obama phones and had no idea how the agent got their number.

Does this outfit sell strictly over the phone ?

Seems like a really shady operation.

Outfits that treat our people like this make it tough on decent agents out here doing the right thing.

I just spoke with one of their agents and he told me that they have them assign commissions and don't even advance 6 months to the agents until they have been with the company for a while.

Free leads are never free!

With that nasty setup they could at least offer them some better carriers. On a side note I was just updated that a very large imo here in the south just inked a deal with a high priced carrier. Man oh man I hope they start slinging that crap in my backyard, easy sales.

Just helped a client cancel a Trans term policy in the 30 day free look, get her money back and sold her LP 121 Immediate Solution that was submitted to Trans while she was in the cancellation process, waiting on her refund. Trans told me that no replacement form was required prior to submission of the the app due to cancellation within the 30 day free look. Policy issued. Do other carriers have different rules ?

Trans, in NY if last policy was canceled within last 6 months, they consider new one replacement, since old one can still be reinstated.

However they are all over the place, they only started this in the last couple of months, until then I was able to replace after lapse with no rep. Paperwork.
