Senior Life Unannounced Rate Increase-Normal/Abnormal?

This is when you can expect Greg to disappear. Every time anyone challenges his company's benefits, he's ghost.
I will give him the benefit of the doubt, momentarily, and assuming he's writing an app.

I believe Newby was saying that seniors were paying $200 for Part B and paying even more for Part D, unless they were impoverished? Did you see my post #168 a few posts above? Google's info on Medicare was different from your info. I can't say who is correct, you or google, as I'm just a FE guy.

Well, I've posted 5 times up here in the last 45 min., with no response from titeye. Doesn't look like I'm ghosting now does it? lol

But titeye, you're not responding. I started to say you're the one who is ghosting but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you're writing up an app?

Greg - on the TeleMed, is it a $0 consult fee and unlimited?

There is a copay. I think the real benefit is not having to get dressed to go to the doctor's office in the middle of the night. If there's a copay either way it's much better to talk to the doctor from home rather than going to their office.

You're correct, You have to build a team to reach the production to qualify and it's not easy. Does any other FE carrier offer health insurance, with or without production requirements?
You're proving my point! If no other FE carrier offers it vs SL offering an unattainable benefit to 99% of its sales force, what's the difference?

Beats me. I show it to them and they like it and they sign up and I get paid.

Just checked with google. It says:
Medicare doesn't cover hearing exams nor hearing aids.
Medicare Part B will cover only one pair of diabetic shoes per calendar year.
Medicare does not cover diabetic or compression socks.

Your info above seems to be completely false.

Even those that don't, how many hearing exams, diabetic shoes and socks does one person need?
Hey buddy. I was writing a couple of apps. Ease up off of me. LOL
You don't read enough. Instead, you'd rather regurgitate as gospel what your SL leader tells you is true. Go back to google and read Part C (aka, Medicare Advantage)
1. Part C does, in fact, cover hearing exams. Legacy does not cover hearing aids, as your response implies. As a result, no need for a senior to pay $4 more per month for a benefit they already in Part C.
2. Medicare does not cover diabetic or compression socks, simply because neither is medically necessary.
3. If someone did feel the need for diabetic or compression socks, could they not buy a pair of each for less than $48 per year? According to your preferred source, Google, yes they can.

Say and do what you feel is necessary to transfer money from their pocket(s) to yours. You will be old and in your clients position soon enough.

Do you want to hear a funny story? Humor me and say yes.
The other day, I respond to a SL rep who tried to recruit me. He begins telling me how great the health insurance benefits are and company stock plan. As he's continuing his pitch, I intentionally interrupt him suddenly and surprise him with an unexpected question, "Do you have health insurance?", I ask. He says, "Huh?", as if he didn't hear me. LOL
Instead of repeating the question, I ask, "Do you have company stock?" He goes, "huh?" again.
You know a person is about to lie, when they answer a question with, "Huh?"
I thought that was hilarious, but I didn't embarrass him. I did, however, ask him if he'd like a 120% FE contract with no proof of production. To my disbelief, he said "huh" again. LMAO

Most telemedicine plans are $0 consult now . . .

Does Greg realize when he posts on this Forum,he's speaking to dozens of independent agents that run their own business, write multiple companies, have hundreds of policies
They pass a hat. It happens. People die all the time that had no life insurance at all. The spouse always makes the claim that "no insurance company would take him".
You know how much I love hearing that one over the years.

You're a state licensed funeral director,right ?

Ok,I'm sure you have quite a bit of experience in funeral merchandise sales.

Your also a skilled FE agent with hundreds, thousand of policies on the books, tons of field experience.

In your best estimation,I'm not gonna hold you to it,give me a good guess in strictly in regards to our FE.....the people we sell to.....here we go....

What percentage of FE clients use a third party vendor for the casket, vault during the period from the death to the funeral service ?

There is a small window to make decisions, act. Most FE clients can't even find their policy, many don't know the beneficiary. As far as the beneficiary.....the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Lol .

No matter how the math adds up,saving money with discounts from Legacy, doesn't the local funeral director have each and every advantage in selling the merchandise to a worn down, inexperienced, grieving beneficiary who has free money to dispose of their loved one ?

Legacy will help the family negotiate the price of the funeral services on behalf of the family, including getting price lists of other local funeral homes for the family to review. Merchandise arrives in 24 hours with no charge for shipping.
