Senior Life Unannounced Rate Increase-Normal/Abnormal?

Tuesday, I had an appointment with a single parent of 3 young adult boys. The dad is 55, his oldest boy 25, next boy 23, and youngest boy 19. The father is in excellent health. Hight in proportion to weight. No meds. NT. No history of anything. Yet, for some reason, he doesn't think he will live past age 75. As I am talking to him, he says he doesn't want his kids to have to deal with anything upon his death. He was adamant about that. I was reminded of these posts, so I asked how he would feel if he had a casket already picked out and someone who would handle the business end with the funeral home on his children's behalf. To my surprise, he kept saying, "Yes! Yes! Yes!" Then I said, "Well, nothing like that exists." LMAO
No, I didn't tell him that. I asked him if he would be willing to pay a premium for those kind of benefits. Again, he said yes. I told him to have his kids call me, if I don't pass away before you, and I will take of it for them. The point is, this guy definitely would have paid $48/annually for Legacy.
.

Imagine that. And he could also enjoy all of the other benefits and savings for him as well as 4 other family members.

You are not required to purchase the vault. To my understanding, some cemeteries don't accept fiberglass vaults. You have to remember, you are thinking rational. Those burying loved ones have so many more things going through their minds, everything they do may be irrational. Especially in the case of an unexpected death. I'm not saying $48 is worth it one way or the other. I imagine there are enough consumers who do find value in it, otherwise the business would fail.
My office was located on various cemeteries for over two decades with the funeral chain started in 1989 so I had 25 years of Fixed Price Funeral and Cemetery Services the whole final expense idea and various discount or memorial societies , casket store whatever what just a competitor I trained hundreds to sell against this stuff. My dad always said that it takes one to know one and if you can't beat them join them so I'm am slowly expanding and enlarging my bag. This whole independent thing is perfect for this stage of my life nobody gives me grief and I return the favor.

Great idea! That will validate that I'm telling the truth about Legacy or Sr Life. I can't recall where I exaggerated anything though.
Promoting SL providing health insurance knowing that 95% can't and never will qualify is an exaggeration of benefits.

Even if Legacy did not guarantee any prices with the casket, vault, and monument, it would still provide:
_discounts on hearing aids
_free annual hearing exam
_discounts on diabetic socks
_discounts on diabetic shoes
_telemedicine 24 hours/day

all for just a $4 monthly membership. And Ms. Jones can add up to 4 family members to her Legacy membership at zero costs. So the $4 monthly membership covers 5 people. Pretty good deal if you ask me.
Consider what you are saying. Your target market is seniors. Seniors have Medicare A, B, oftentimes C and D. They get these benefits without having to pay an additional $4 per month for them. Did you know that?
Even those that don't, how many hearing exams, diabetic shoes and socks does one person need?

They pay nearly $200 per month for part B plus more for Part D unless they are completely impoverished.

This is when you can expect Greg to disappear. Every time anyone challenges his company's benefits, he's ghost.
I will give him the benefit of the doubt, momentarily, and assuming he's writing an app.

You're correct, You have to build a team to reach the production to qualify and it's not easy. Does any other FE carrier offer health insurance, with or without production requirements?

Beats me. I show it to them and they like it and they sign up and I get paid.

Just checked with google. It says:
Medicare doesn't cover hearing exams nor hearing aids.
Medicare Part B will cover only one pair of diabetic shoes per calendar year.
Medicare does not cover diabetic or compression socks.

Your info above seems to be completely false.

Even those that don't, how many hearing exams, diabetic shoes and socks does one person need?[/QUOTE] That's your quote up above. But you're over looking that the $4 monthly membership can cover 5 people not just one.

Did you know that? lol
I'm assuming google is a credible source.

Greg is here. I never hide from challenges and questions. Not sure why you would even say that.

I wasn't writing an app, I was talking with a recruit. Nevertheless, I don't understand why you think I would disappear based on what Newby said.
