Setting Appointments or Door Knocking

Since they have now sort of admitted to having money and estate concerns, Is there any kind of single payment policy for grandkids that you could offer them (if there are grandkids in the picture)?

I've sold a few MOO children's policies. I'm sure someone like @WinoBlues or @DHK could find a need and find a solution. I'm not there yet.

I have had mixed feelings about DM programs. My view as of today is that I'd be better off going back to MS Powermail and dropping my own where I want. Also, I find door knocking is much easier when you have the actual pink or blue or green card that the responder sent in than it is showing the a scanned black and white copy on paper.

I agree with both points. Nothing like ordering based on specific zip code demographics.

Nothing like telling someone that $10K is only $55/month and having them immediately burst out laughing. "Heck, I'll just give my son the $10,000 now so he'll have it while waiting for the estate to settle."

That's a jackpot response. Show how much benefit he could buy for 10k using a SP. Very simple, very effective, high commissions. Only hard part is finding those with liquid money earmarked to be passed down. If there was a lead that pulled those effectively we'd all be millionaires.

I'm working a county like that now. And the ones who are there are living in a $350,000 home with no mortgage and two pensions. I wish I knew the business better to know what to do for those folks.

Cover the pension or the % they lose. Transition money. Cover their mother or their single mother daughter and her 5 children since that dead beat sob ran off with that tramp Britney from theNew Starbucks downtown.

I had a lead last year that I wasn't even going to knock on that one because they live in the new section of my neighborhood where the homes are selling for $400 to $500K (my section was built in the late 60's early 70's, the new section is McMansions 25 years old or newer). Most of the folks in that part of the development are very highly paid executives, surgeons, engineers, etc. But, I spent $30 on the damn lead, so I figured at the very least I'd tell them no to fill the darn card out again.

I ended up selling them a policy for their 37 year old daughter.

And that's the way the game is played!

Police officers step to the side of the door.

Don't ask how I know.
I do the same.. I step to the right of the door...Which means I would be facing toward the hinges but actually I am facing the prospect when they open the door.. Ready to walk through the door..
