Telesales - Brutal Truth

I disagree telesales agents are better salesman.Tv leads are 100% higher quality than misleading dm leads . Everyone calling has an interest were possibly 50% of dm leads even know what the card is about.Telesales 8 hr phone grind is equaled by 1000 miles a week of windshield time.It all comes down to a great field agent can net more than a telesales agent. If I could make more in telesales I'd much rather not have to drive a mile.

You gotta recognize who is saying that drivel. FOS marketers for telesales. You never hear actual producers talk that crap.

Only the marketers telling tales. And in this case they are telling each other.

That's high comedy. And they are no real danger to anyone with a brain. A thinking person will figure them out in a second even if they fall for it in the beginning. Will the Craig's list lurker figure them out? No, and that's the people that feeds them. They are a match.

Doug,

I bet per capita, the percentage of agents making 100k is the same, at least from the numbers I see at North Star.

Also, North Star does have agents working from home who are netting 100k too. Its not necessarily a call center thing, but I would agree, its MUCH more difficult to make it at home, due to the obvious distractions.

I think youre a great face to face guy, and maybe telesales wasn't your preference, but I can rattle off a list of agents who I personally know who failed at face to face sales and are doing pretty well in telesales. Many happen to be women for whatever reason.

Whatever reason? Probably because they were born female.

Its TOTALLY a preference. I know some would disagree, but it is.

Totally a preference? Well, more people decide their gender these days, but I'm one of those who disagree. I still think it's because they were born female.

For the most part, however, I agree with your above analysis.

It's good that you agree with the non-gender stuff.

Now, now, John, telesales agents don't require the cheapest fraternal company out there to make sales. That's the difference between a salesman and a closer.

I will admit thou, it would be an awkward question to ask someone if they were a baptized Christian via telesales. Props to you.

Just wondering, does KSKJ rescind policies if someone converts to a new religion in the first two years?

First off...this whole "response" is just weird.

Second...you can't try to reason with John. I mean the GREAT JOHN DUGGER. Remember the old saying? You can't fix stupid?

Plus...he could simply copy and paste his response above and just paste it instead of re-typing it over and over again because it all he says. Over and over and over and over.....it's like the more he says it the more he may get others to think its fact and believe him. LOL

He's got so much hate in him it's a wonder he makes any sales at all. But hey...if I had his life I would be full of hate also.

He talks so much hypocrisy (someone help John out with the definition please) it's so sad. He bash's some recruiters. But licks others ass's. Its so funny watching and messing with him.

NS...I love this line...he'll use it soon. "Hey...come sell some policies over the phone in KY. That way I can have easy replacements. Yeah. I'm awesome. I just thought of that all by myself." LOL

That's funny coming from someone that couldn't sell if someone walked up to you and asked to buy.

Asking anything would be awkward for someone that can't sell and never has sold.

As for your hollow insults, I sold about $1.5 million of FE before I ever heard of KSKJ.

I know you FOS marketers want to discredit me because I tell agents the truth and you guys can't stand the truth.

Now John, guessing your age by watching you pimp FEXContracting on a recruiting video, Id say youve been licensed for at least 10 maybe 20 years.

So you average writing between 150k to 75k annualy. Hardly enough business to assume you've written more than anyone, or are better at sales than the next guy.

Truth is, you're a price buster. If you cant replace, you cant sell, in alot of cases. And thats ok. Seems to be working out well for you, and you seem like a very happy guy.

However, telesales agents can't price bust. We actually have to understand the psychology of the sale, build value, isolate objections, rebut, and CLOSE PEOPLE.

Never do we sell on price, thats not sales, thats peddling.

Ill give it to you though, youre very persistent, which can be a positive things in sales.

Anytime you want to trained by proven producers, who consistently write more than you, you can visit my office anytime.

Just curious what % of your telesales business is replacing if any? Again TV leads are different than Dm leads. The interest level is much greater when somebody picks of the phone and makes the call. I bet 90% of the time they either have no Ins or want to add to it. With Dm cards many of the people get 10 cards a month and have lukewarm interest. You as the salesman much find the interest. I was door knocking yesterday and i bet 50% of the people hardly remembered filling the card out and none were over 3 weeks old. No doubt its harder to sell on the phone and it takes more leads per sale but you have interested people right then and there. If i could truly make more money in telesales i'd home that skill but thats not the case.I love running into senior life or other tele sales as those are super easy replacements as no agent is around.

You're no better at assuming than you are at sales. Listen, I know you have a tough job. You have to pimp a failed model to hopeless people.

You just chose the wrong place in doing it here.

As for personal production in FE, last year was my 8th full year of doing FE. It was also my 8th consecutive year of writing over $200K. And that's on 15 leads a week. But I went to 10 a week last Sept.

I will be in this business 13 years in May. Started MP and wrote $260K my first full year.

So you really can't talk to me about sales.

And that's why you want to discredit me. You know I know the score and you don't want the score out there.

You would rather lie and give out fake numbers for your churn and burn operation.

And I don't "assume I've written more than anyone". Because I know I haven't. I'm not the number 1 producer at FEX. I wasn't the number 1 producer at EFES. The guys I know at 360 like Spur and AgentGuy I don't write as much as much as them either.

But I do know the con artists in this business too. I don't know which FEX video you refer to. I've been in a few of them. And will anytime they ask.

Because they are the real deal. Travis Tubbs is, in my opinion, the best FE salesman in the world. He teaches a system that is duplicable and the proof is out there in the producing agents he's trained.

They are the most transparent IMO I've ever been associated with. So yes, I will brag on them at every opportunity. But people will tell you too that I don't always recommend FEX to agents that PM me because FEX is not for everyone.

That's vs your IMO that's not right for anyone. Again, I appreciate how hard your job is in having to put lipstick on a pig.

You really should stop talking out of your rear. You may know DM leads, however you know absolutely nothing about tv leads.
