The Door Knock Life

Pivoting from FE to Medicare, no problem. Cancer... I'm curious about.

Louis did an interview about four years ago about cancer insurance but it is now behind a pay wall unfortunately. He is a cancer survivor himself, and he has a strong personal story. That likely enables him to move into this discussion with an ease due to the conviction that can only come from experience.

I would have liked to have posted that link here - it is a real good talk. Maybe we should ask @NAF1138 to invite Louis on The Insurance Panel to discuss cancer insurance. That way the interview will be on Youtube and not stashed behind a pay wall where it won't do anyone any good.

Yes, I've read about his experience and that helps.

Sounds good, especially for those with MA plans, They aren't good for the 20% cancer OOP.

Yesterday I wrote a $127 quarterly cancer plan off one of the Lead Jerk leads..

Curious how you approach someone about cancer plans when dk-ing FE leads?
I used to just say, "BTW, before I leave I would like to ask you a question. Have you ever had cancer? Do you know of anyone who has had cancer?" and then go into my normal presentation.

Now, I have an old trifold brochure that I modified that addresses the warning signs of cancer. I hand it to them and say, "Before I leave I want to give you something that might save your life someday. It may help you detect cancer before it is too late." .... Every one likes free stuff and it makes you appear to be genuinely concerned about them (hopefully you are)

If anyone wants a copy send me your email. You can save it as a PDF and then edit where I have my name and address or place your label over my name.
