Top Women Producers in FE?

Lol where do you find that...

Lol, well you don't have to look too far!!!

In all honesty, there are probably more great places than I could count as far as a decent landing spot for a new agent. There are also tons of horrible land mines. With that said, it has to be a good fit for both the agent and the manager/agency. No opportunity is one-size-fits-all so what might work great for one agent could be a potential horrible setup for the next agent.

OttoGraf is a midwestern fella like you, hockeyday. He is not my upline, and I have nothing to gain by recommending him to you. But I can vouch for him being a top producer, always ready to lend a helping hand (and I'm not his downline), and he trains his new agents up in a car right by his side (and he posts the duet-selfies to prove it).

This is hard for me to share but I think it is important. I was going to a client appointment. I was in a "good" neighborhood. It was August, one o'clock in the afternoon on a gorgeous sunny day. I got out of my car, went to the trunk to grab my bag and was immediately mugged by three young men. I was sexually assaulted and beaten within an inch of my life. I was left for dead in the dirt on the side of the street a bloody mess. I had my skull and ribs fractured. I had many of my teeth broken out and my ear ripped off the side of my head from being hit so hard. (It was surgically repaired and is fine now.) Cars drove past, no one stopped. I was only saved because a man ran out waving his phone screaming he was calling the police and dialed 911. He risked his own life to save mine. So, in my opinion, it is not safe for women to go to appointments by themselves. Nope. Not one bit. The streets can be crazy. I pray what happened to me does not ever happen to anyone else regardless of gender. All this being said, I didn't quit the industry. I kept on but I do my meetings and apps, by phone, email, screen share, and many platforms that are available for true telephonic enrollments. It has been five years since I was attacked. In that time, I am privileged and honored to have some amazing agents who work under me. I built a dedicated and hardworking group of individuals who all actively write business. I opened a call center. And last year, I earned more money than I ever thought possible across all lines of business. In this industry, you have to have heart, self discipline, drive, a whole lot of moxie, genuiness and a true desire to help people, and for me, a strong faith in God. Do the right things, find the right people to work with who will support you on your journey. You can make excuses or you can get to work and make money. It is a phenomenal industry.

Brandon, do you believe that sexual predators or men who sexually harass women live in certain zip codes around the city?

The stats are public info and easily accessible for each zip. If I were a woman and concerned about such things, before quitting, I'd pay close attention. Some in my county are incredibly high compared to many others where there's also plenty of prospects.

I clearly stated that the best chances for your success would be to start with a LOCAL agency that could give you Face to Face training and provide you with Ride-Alongs.

For selling lil burial plans? hmm interesting, lots of different opinions.

I'm SO sorry to hear about your experience "lovinglife". I can't imagine the pain you went through as well as the ongoing trauma I'm sure you have to continually deal with.

I suppose we can all only go off of our own experience. I know we have 7 females in the top 25 of our leaderboard this month at Equita (EFES) out of hundreds of agents. We also have two females in the top ten for the year and they are both already well over 50k!

Thank you for your kind words. Im okay now. I wanted to share my experience as I think it's important to consider.

So they didn't have anything to do with the appointment? Hope they're in the pen! Glad you're doing well.

No. They did not have anything to do with the appointment. They had been around the corner. The prosecutor believed it was a random act of violence. As far as I am aware, they were never caught.
