TransAmerica Update

It's 25% more than Trans Standard . Family Benefit graded 15% cheaper than prosperity. Aren't they 30/70/100 also ?Wow foresters Standard 20% more than Trans Standard and 22% more than Aig Gi . A lot of upheaval in the FE space as products were mispriced

Family benefit graded is not true graded to the extent that prosperity is. Family benefit pays reduced commission on that product prosperity doesn't. Family benefit doesn't want to much graded business prosperity doesn't have a limit on direct express or graded business.

AIG is a joke of a company and if you're choosing to write guaranteed issue when they qualify for a first day coverage I think that's a bad call.

Copd direct express .Neuropathy copd non insulin direct express or pac. But the pain meds will knock many neuropathy cases out now . Unfortunately I run into a lot of that . By the way on the print out of the app the new social security form never printed out .Id think twice before doing a 20 min e-app that has stricter underwriting and few instant approvals . Your saying 2 or more yrs of copd and it's preferred with American Memorial ?

36 months and no nebulizer use. But they're stuck in the stone age as far as app and billing.

I've heard you say that before . But unfortunately many people will balk at the price . Obviously if there wasn't price sensitivity there would be no replacements .But I do agree when so few companies take direct express it's a viable option.

If the price/amount on insurance were in an issue, Lincoln Heritage, Colonial Penn, Senior Life and Old American would be out of business. There modified rates are extremely pricey, but they still sell

But let's be honest: Who here isn't replacing every one of those over-priced policies he or she comes across in the field.

the client doesn't have fex quotes

But the agent coming in behind does ... and he also has KSKJ, Lifeshield, Family Benefit/Trinity, SNL, Sentinel, Oxford ...

Because having insurance is still better than no insurance.

And I use that line in everyone of my presentations. But FE is a commodity sale. We are selling piles of money. Each is identical to one another. If I ask my client would you rather pay $1.87/roll for Bounty paper towels at the Rite Aid or $0.99/roll for the same Bounty Paper towels at Walmart, which do you think they will choose.

I will grant that some agents can become the prize ... a very, very few. And for those agents an over-priced policy can nonetheless be very, even permanently sticky.

But I am absolutely gobsmacked that all these EFES folks are showing up trying to tell us that price doesn't matter. You're right. It doesn't matter ... until it does. And I don't mean to sound down on EFES. But it is all EFES folks saying the same thing. If y'all haven't been replaced by an FEX or 360 agent coming in behind you with the KSKJ it's just a matter of time.

David,

I've been replaced on price twice and ethically in 4 1/2 yrs.

1.5 yr lbl lbl replaced by kskj, conserved using concerns over contestability been restarted

1 yr old Trsns replaced by kskj
Re-wrote with Lifeshield explained that it wasn't ethical for the agent to have sold you life insurance and Medicare in the same appointment and wedged the trust factor. " is that guy the person you really want taken care of your family when you die"

price is relative..:.

we have a fear of constantly being replaced because we are the ones doing it but it's very infrequent considering the volume of business I produce and those are the only two cases I can recall.
