Which FE Carriers Are Not Allowing FE Tele-Sales?

Again, I am a regular insurance agent, not an FE only agent so my perspective I am sure is different. Hence the *

If these guys are only getting 50-75% I assume they are getting free pre qualified leads and some kind of bonus or benefits. So that brings their cost down. We all pay for gas (not me), food and I guess hotels. If they can not survive the 5-7 days between submission and approval They are already 'not making it'. They are working to make just enough money to work.

Also, Gas - F2F guys pay for gas, but honestly how much can that be a week? Hotels - Back in my road warrior day I would hotel it a few times a month. Why would an agent have to go further than a couple of hours from home every day to work? Food - We all pay for food. Let's say they eat cheap. $20 xs 3 = $60. Let's say $25 (about 150miles) for gas. Hotel $120. That is $205 a day or $820 for a 4 day week. Or one FE sale. Other than a hotel this is just normal road warrior expenses.

I am sure I am missing something. Honestly, I am just killing time before I head to Home Depot
When I 1st started, we'd have a crew that would stay in a motel all week long.

You must eat well... $20 per meal is on the steep side unless you are including adult beverages.. You can do breakfast at a fast food place for $5, lunch for $7-$10 and dinner for $10-15. That is only $22-$30 per day. In this area you can get a decent hotel room for $65-$70 per night. However, I have never figured out why a person would have to travel so far from home to write business that they would need a motel room. But, you did leave out the lead expense..

Back in my road warrior days I do a room if I had a couple of appointments 3 +hours on consecutive days. Or in a cool area like SF or central coast wine country. Now a days I want a sit down for a Cafe type meal for breakfast and lunch. Hotel - now a days Holliday Inn is the base. I want a bar close.

We provide our Career Agents with 20 to 30 fresh Direct Mail Leads every week. In addition they receive B & C leads too. We operate our own mail house.

They receive training & support.

They can also earn Bonuses & Incentives.

When they write $300 or more in Monthly Premiums in a given week - we will also reimburse them for up to 4 nights in a hotel.

We have Agents doing $300 to $600 in monthly premiums every week. They are killing it with our fresh, hot leads.

Most carriers we use are instant decision partners. So - the agent knows when submitting if it's approved or not. No secrets in most policies.

We encourage the client to get immediate coverage, that day, but in some instances - the draft date may be further out.

Tom, after seeing your pink post I have to ask....do you ever recruit straight males? :twitchy:;)

If they are going to starve out with a one week delay in their first comp. They may need one of the forum IMO's help.

Everyone on the forum and Facebook apparently a bunch of $40,000 a month agents.

If your agents are averaging $5,000 AP a week Xs 50 weeks = $250,000.00 per year. and they can not self-fund for one week?

And why would they not just buy their own leads and get higher first year and a chit load more renewals?

I do the same. However, per the FE guys here you have to draft on the SS pay date or it will lapse. No?

I am mostly just messing with you. I don't see your stuff until someone ask you something. Nothing personal it is just the colored text irritates me.

Good luck.

Oh, Oh, you say, career agents, Who owns the book if they leave?

I quit reading the colored text also. I wonder how many people he fails to reach because he stubbornly insists on continuing to use the colors..
