With EFES you get TWO writing numbers with each company. One is "wholesale" with higher commissions for writing from your own leads or prospecting. The other "retail" for writing from their leads. Slightly lower commissions.
Best of both worlds. You are not "captive" with EFES. You can have all the appointments with other IMO/FMO's you want.

Is there any reason agents wouldn't just take the leads and write it at a higher comp elsewhere?

Ethics, I suppose? I know of agent that have done that. They would stop selling you leads if you did that with regularity I'm sure.

The agents are not respnsible for MIPPA. That was the debil's, {humana's}, doing. They tried to blame the agents. Seems they succeeded with at least one person.

This efes stuff is starting to become hilarious. The reason you wouldn't write their leads with your own wholesale number is because you would be for 1, paying over $30 per lead (what you're lead cost goes to if you don't write on their lead program which start at $25 btw) and 2, you'd be choosing to write it with a level that's still less than you can find elsewhere.
Honestly I hate to be such an efes basher, but until they give me a release (which they are refusing to do for no reason whatsoever) I am going to show what they are which is a very marginal IMO using this forum to recruit agents who believe what they read
