Will Ehealth Make It?

Aren't we supposed to have a national risk pool in....4 months? I wonder how that's going.

It's up to the states. I know our commish is hard at work. She's put out two bulletins and a FAQ.

I think they honestly believe it will be actuarily sound.

No, not anymore. The easter bunny told me the tooth fairy got laid off for giving out to much money in these hard economic times.

Obama needed to save some money on the nations dental work. Tooth fairy was encouraging people to lose their teeth to 'cash in'. He had to go. Since he was a private contractor, and didn't belong to a union, there was no problem.

With Europe (Greece, Spain, etc) having serious issues maintaining their nanny state...maybe the US can wake up before its too late...and not fund Obamacare.

getfiddle2: Come on man, you really think the next congress won't fund this bastard? Once they feed it a drop of milk, its over. The babies in our country will need the full tits always. Show me how this pig of a bill is going to be repealed or even starved (not funded)...How in the hell is that going to happen?

No chance.

Once the public gets something, they don't want to give it up - even when it's unaffordable. That's the reason for the riots, that Greeks want their services, but the government needs to cut back spending.

It just doesn't work that way.

It will be interesting in the campaigns to see how this debate is structured. Europe crumbling with entitlements does provide conservatives with some leverage.
