ADB/75 Year Old Grandmother

Lots of folks out here have it with Am Gen,when you call customer service/life side to check life insurance and ask about an ADD they won't help.

These folks also usually have a Cancer policy.

As JD points out many ways to do what we do.

I have added very few Accident riders. If they need $X amount of insurance if they die in a 747 headed to Europe they need $X amount if they die from a heart attack in bed with the neighbor. If a Logger, Miner or Alaska fisherman I would offer a standalone policy. I have and probably will start offering it more often to young people's policies.

ABR is more important than ADB.

I try to always offer child riders to parents policies even if I am writing standalone policies. Especially if 3 plus children. The cost per thousand and the multiple face amount conversion are advantages to the client.

WP is more important than ADB (where age and occ appropriate).

ADB on a 75 year old? ah, NO! Gun totting Gangsta Granny aside.

All IMohsoHO

ABR, isn't exactly that easy to qualify for and may create a taxable event it's not all it's cracked up to be.

If a rider is available, I'll offer. The client has the choice to reject or accept.

When I was a rookie, I was selling against a policy with adbr and told her about how I recommend real Insurance and bla bla. Then she told me her husband fell down the stairs and died when he was in poor health and had adbr.........WOOPS..... She bought from me but we added adbr. Lol
