Time to go back to your newspaper advertising
I have more than 3 years in now. So I figure I can make a go of this job. HA, I wrote two FE houses this week on two appointments so I guess I am at 100% closing.

Man why are you acting like you know what you're talking about?
In the last few weeks you've started threads on what to do with replacements, minor errors on apps, DKing No's on the phone, printing lead cards, business cards etc.
They all scream: IM NEW TO ALL THIS!
But now, you've sold 100 policies and want to school the rest of us on the habits and short-comings of our clientele.
Here's the answer to your question: Say this, long before you get to price, "So do you get your check on the 3rd or did they put you on that weird Wednesday schedule?"
At this point, they have no reason to lie.
Then once you're closing you say, "Ok mrs jones, the insurance company will send the bill directly to the bank on the (whatever day they told you earlier)."
Gee.. who implied you were a bad guy? Not me..

Nobody has a problem with you necessarily repeating questions that have been asked and re-asked dozens of times in the past few years (we were all newbs at one time) what rubs us the wrong way is you acting like you know what you're talking about.
I have a brother like you. He's 23 and believes he knows everything too.
