Breaking - UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson shot and killed outside Manhattan Hilton hotel

The average before tax income for a retired couple in the US is over $90k per year. Median is over $50k.

Anyone who thinks that retirees pay no taxes, is living in a fantasy world. Its the #2 worry people cite for their retirement, right after outliving their assets.

Anyone who doesn't know the difference between income taxes and payroll taxes shouldn't be trying to arguing about taxes online.

"Pay no taxes" isn't the same as pay mediate taxes. "Taxes" and taxes that fund Medicare are vastly different things.

Maybe you should learn how taxes work.

And just to be clear, I never meant that MAPD beneficiaries pay for the entire premium through taxes necessarily. Some do, some dont.

My point, is that "free" or "cheap" is not truly free or cheap. And most do not realize the low price is due to tax dollars subsidizing the cost.

But everyone is paying for it in the general sense, that our entire nation is paying for it.

To get real, the current retired generation is passing much of the cost down to their children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They got their cake already...

Taxes pay for the low premiums of MAPD. Half a trillion a year.

You're bad at math and accounting. Taxes pay for Medicare period. So, Medicare advantage doesn't cost a half a trillion a year since most of the cost would be incurred anyway because they are on Medicare period. So even without MAPD most of the half a trillion you keep referring to what still be spent.

If you think that FICA is the only tax that funds Medicare and MAPD, then you should run the numbers.

FICA is there for traditional Medicare. And it doesnt even fully fund it. MAPD subsidies are completely separate.

Half a trillion go to MAPD. Separate of Traditional Medicare. Look it up.

We also now know why he racked his gun after each shot, it was a specialized weapon designed in WW2 for silent operation.

Multiple experts have said he does not seem like a professional based on the operation of the weapon, and the stance and movements when shooting.

Interesting, I was thinking maybe subsonic rounds. To defeat Shot Spotter.

Now it is, are they going to be able to take him alive.

Client just called and left a message she wants to switch from United as she doesn't trust them paying claims . It's ironic as hell because United by far has the most customer loyalty because they have the most lenient preauthorization of all the carriers I sell . My clients have the most loyalty with United
