Door Knocking List

I'm looking for advice on the approach...I've never door knocked without lead card...however, most don't remember filling it out
Just looking for good way to approach them without lead card
I don't know how old your leads are, but I do knock on doors with a lead card in hand. (If I can't get hold of a client on the phone.) I can honestly say that I get only a very few who say that they don't remember filling the card out when they see it. More on the phone tell me that BS. Some actually get indignant about it. All part of the game.

I have actually had this conversation take place at the door.

"I didn't send a card in"

"Well, Mr. Smith, here is the card. Either you or someone you know sent it in. Is this your signature?"

"Yeah, but I didn't send it in."

I get that ^^ response to a mailer about once every few months, its common.
